Some mushrooms are found underneath the large blue mushroom bulbs. Usually, you can get to its underside by simply tethering to the Four-Leaf Sigil nearby, but you may also need to glide to it.
Start by going east of the Statue of the Seven in Mawtiyima Forest, then walk along the road to find the mushrooms by the Hilichurls and Abyss Mage. Afterwards, go to the Under the Umbrella's Shade domain and head west.

Head inside the caves around Vanarana to access few mushrooms hiding deep underground. It is recommended to farm elsewhere unless you're just missing a few.
25-26 | West of Sumeru City, two Rukkhashava Mushrooms are inside a large hollow log that's partly above the road, with an Eremite camp below. |
---|---|
27 | The initial entrance is technically beside #25 - 26, where you have to unflood the cave and get rid of the Withering. The Rukkhashava Mushroom is closer to this path once you've explored the entire cave and are just returning though. |
28 | Teleport to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom's lair and head beneath it's territory platform. If you haven't unlocked it, there should be a portal outside that you can use to instsantly teleport to this location! The mushroom is right at the base of the giant mushroom platform. |
29-30 | North of Old Vanarana, follow the cave's path and to a hollow log leading further downwards. Two Rukkhashavas are growing inside the hollow log. Beware of all the Shroom-kin inside the cave! |

Two can be found on either ends of the large hollow log, around some Nilotpala Lotus and an Aranara hut. |
Cave entrances in Vissudha Field to Fane of Ashvattha and north of Pardis Dhyai are locked behind a drain puzzle, Stone Pillar Seals puzzle, Legends of the Stone Lock quest, and Phantasmal Gate challenge.
While Vissudha Field does contain an abundant number of these mushrooms, you will need to unlock these locations first if you wish to farm here.
33-35 | Head to the cave accessible by activating two Cube Mechanisms found underground the nearest Statue of the Seven. Two mushrooms will be on one side of the giant tree while another one will be on the other side. |
---|---|
36 | Located underground, after unflooding the area head south from the Teleport Waypoint and enter the cave. You can follow the path to a large cavern and use the Four-Leaf Sigils to get on top of the branch to see it! |
37-38 | In the same cave as #36, go down to the ground level and find the entrance with the cube mechanism. Climb the wall and go through this path until you get to the cave where the Fragment of Childhood Dreams domain is. If you have the domain unlocked you can just teleport there! Two Rukkhashava Mushrooms will be growing on different roots growing along the cave, be careful not to fall! |
39 | Clear the Withering Zone west of the teleport north of Pardis Dhyai then enter the new passage. Drop down then complete the Phantasmal Gate challenge to open the door, then head straight until you find #39. |
40-41 | After #39, continue heading forward until you've come across the big flooded room. Two mushrooms are inside the big hollow trunk on the far side of the room. |
42 | In the same room as #40-41, drain the water by removing the stone pillar seals nearby with Pyro and defeat the ruin enemy. From the hollow tree, glide west and drop down to the mushroom. |

44-45 | Only accessible after completing Legends of the Stone Lock quest, which unlocks after destroying all Stone Pillar Seals. The Aranara will drain the water for you, allowing you to access the mushrooms inside the hollow trunk. |
Teleport to the highest waypoint above the tall trees in Apam Woods then check the platforms on each level to find a number of Rukkhashava Mushrooms sitting by the trunk. You can also find cave mushrooms in Grove of Dreams, which is accessible through a hole nearby.
46 | Located right beside the Teleport Waypoint in Apam Woods! |

51-52 | Two more mushrooms are growing along the same hut's right side! |
53 | From the Teleport Waypoint, use Electro on the Bouncy Mushroom nearby and jump to the platform above, where the mushroom is on. |
54 | Located closer to the ground, in between the roots of the the tree and near a green and yellow window built into the tree. |
55-56 | Located on the wooden bridge southeast of the teleport waypoint where the first group of Rukkhashava Mushrooms were. Be careful of the Rishboland Tigers, Hilichurls and Cryo Abyss Mage in the area! |

65 | This mushroom is located on a different tree branch of the same tree, south of the first one. |
66-68 | Accessible through a cave from the Varuna Gatha quest chain. From the Tower of Abject Pride domain, head down to the cave entrance with a Four-Leaf Sigil. follow the cave's path until you get to the Grove of Dreams, where three mushrooms can be found on a large root. |
69-70 | Higher on the tree, one is beside a Bouncy Mushroom and a floating dendro ring, another is on the other side of the same platform. |
If you've already unlocked the Waypoint in the underground cave in Devantaka Mountain, start from there and follow the Four-Leaf Sigils by the hanging branches. All the mushrooms are found sticking to these branches, so you can simply follow it.
If you haven't unlocked the Waypoint, simply follow the path from the given end point in the image above.
71 | Located in a cave on a root attached to a rocky outcrop closest to the entrance of the cave in Devantaka Mountain. |
---|---|
72 | You can follow the direction of the roots from rocky outcrop to rocky outcrop until you get to the next mushroom! Use Four-Leaf Sigils to easily get around. |
73 | Found closer to the ground, on the roots growing at a lower rocky outcrop north of #74 and #75. |
74-75 | Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to get to the roots growing out of a rocky outcrop where the mushroom is located. Another one can be found on the roots on the other side of the same outcrop! |
76 | From either the underground Waypoint or the cave entrance, you can use the Four-Leaf Sigils to travel southwards until you find the large root close to the wall of the cavern where the Rukkhashava Mushroom grows. |
Five Rukkhashava Mushrooms can be purchased every three days for 1,000 Mora from Ashpazi, the Master Chef in Gandharva Ville, or from Aramani the Aranara in Vanarana.
Ashpazi may be found near the village entrance on the deck, while Aramani can be found inside the damp cave southeast of Varanara. Aramani's Shop is only available after completing the Aranyaka: Part II Dream Nursery quest, The World of Aranara.
Dream Nursery Quests for Aranyaka: Part 2

Description | A fungus that grows in layers upon layers, like a sea of clouds, and which mostly grows on trees deep in the rainforest. Therefore, they are considered by the people of Sumeru to be the holy crystallization of Rukkhadevata's legacy. |
Rukkhashava Mushrooms are purple fungi commonly found growing on branches and roots in dense rainforests, but they can also be picked up deep in underground caves. These fungi are mostly located in Ashavan Realm and Lokapala Jungle.

Can they bring the old way back because it was way easier with all those pictures, and now it’s way harder to find them with just the map like that without detailed descriptions like before
