Description | A plant species that only grows in certain regions and islands of the ocean. Though it looks like a fungus of some sort, it actually comes from a substance secreted by certain soft-bodied organisms. |
The Sea Ganoderma is an Inazuma Local Specialty found along shores, shoals, coastlines, and other shallow bodies of water in Inazuma. They are often half or fully submerged in the water.
As a Local Specialty item, Sea Ganoderma are also used to ascend certain Inazuma Characters.

From the Teleport Waypoints, make your way down to the northern shores of Narukami Island to gather Sea Ganoderma. You can use the Waverider to get to the other islands where groups of Sea Ganoderma grow!
You can only begin exploring Inazuma after completing the Ritou Escape Plan sub-quest in the Chapter 2: Act 1 Archon Quest, ''The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia!''
Kannazuka Island's shores and shallow waters are completely populated with Sea Ganoderma. Make your way to the beaches of Kannazuka from the nearest teleport waypoint to get the Sea Ganoderma.
There are two places to get Sea Ganoderma in Yashiori Island, one on the northwestern side of the island, amongst half-submerged ruins. Another is at the southeastern part of the island, near Kannazuka.
Get Sea Ganoderma along the outer shores of Watatsumi Island. You can use the Teleport Waypoints and One-Time Domain to collect the Sea Ganoderma in a circular route around the island.
Get Sea Ganoderma along the beaches of Seirai Island. You will need to glide down from the Teleport Waypoint near the center of the island to get to the Sea Ganoderma.
The Sea Ganoderma southeast of the island may have enemies nearby so be careful!
To access the entirety of Seirai Island and remove the deadly lightning storm, complete the Seirai Stormchasers quest chain!

The areas in Tsurumi Island with Sea Ganoderma are all on the edges of the island. You can start from the Statue of the Seven found on the island and make your way towards the other locations.
You can only access Tsurumi Island after completing the Seirai Stormchasers quest chain and beginning the A Particularly Particular Author world quest chain!

You can also find five Sea Ganoderma in a pond located at the Evernight Temple in Enkanomiya! You can make your way down from the nearest teleport waypoint and collect the Sea Ganoderma.
You can only access Enkanomiya after completing The Moon-Bathed Deep Quest chain and The Still-Water's Flow Quest chain, and starting the From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku quest chain!

You can buy Sea Ganoderma from Obata the Fisherman in Ritou, Inazuma. He is located on the docks west of Ritou near the Teleport Waypoint.
Note that there is a purchase limit of 5 Sea Ganoderma per three days, so remember to check out Obata's shop if you need a lot!

Sea Ganoderma resets exactly 48 hours after you collect them. Relog the game or teleport from the farthest waypoint and check the location once more to see it spawn.

Sea Ganoderma can also be obtained by planting its cutting inside your Serenitea Pot through its gardening system. These cuttings can only be planted in A Path of Value: Orderly Meadow.
Sea Ganoderma Cuttings can be obtained by collecting Sea Ganodermas with the Seed Dispensary gadget equipped in the open-world!
Sea Ganoderma Cuttings can also be bought from Tubby the Teapot Spirit, in the Realm Depot. It's under the Creatures of the Realm category at the very bottom of the item shop!
Sea Ganoderma first appeared in the event Midsummer Island Adventure found in the four Isles within the event location, but the event has ended and is currently inaccessible.

a few in the 1-24 section seem to be showing sea grass spawn points and not sea ganoderma. do these share spawn points causing one or the other to spawn or am I missing something?
