You can unlock The Roaming Abode by completing the Threefold Expectations world quest.

Talk to Xiangjun Near the Teatree Slope Waypoint

The Roaming Abode is a new world quest introduced in Version 4.4, located in the Chenyu Vale region. Start this quest by talking to Xiangjun near the beach, west of the Teatree Slope Waypoint.

Set the Time to 20:000

Do note that Xiangjun will only appear if the in-game time is past 20:00. You can freely change the time simlpy by opening the menu and clicking on the clock icon to set the current time.

The Roaming Abode Walkthrough

Look for clues in the direction indicated by Xiangjun

Teleport to the Yaodie Valley Waypoint, located just south of your current position. Once there, look for a messenger bag hanging on a tent.

Search for a path

Descend below the cliff to discover a small Hilichurl camp with a breakable wall behind it. Defeat the Hilichurls, break the wall, and explore the cavern.

Examine the cavern

Enter the cavern and examine the bag with a notebook, located not far from the entrance, to advance in the quest.

Go near Mt. Xuanlian

Head towards the right side of Mt. Xuanlian and follow the road until you spot a small cave with a green barrier on your right. Open this barrier by stepping on the stone platform and wait until it is released.

Obtain the blessed waters

Before leaving the cave, interact with the water inside to obtain the Blessed Waters.

Return to Qiaoying Village

Visit Qiaoying Village and talk to Uncle Luo to gather more information about Xiangjun.

Go to the herb gatherer's house

Proceed to the northernmost house at the edge of Qiaoying Village to progress the quest.

Water the divine herb

Follow Uncle Luo's instructions and use the Blessed Waters on the divine herb seeds.

Talk to Uncle Luo

Talk to Uncle Luo to complete the quest.
