Aha! Looks like A Wangshan Walk to Remember is not locked behind any quest! |
A Wangshan Walk to Remember is a new world quest added in Version 4.4 and is available immediately after unlocking the Chenyu Vale region.
Approach the Huang the Third in the training grounds on the north side of Yilong Wharf to start the quest.
Alternatively, you can talk to Wen the Fourth at Mt. Lingmeng near the entrance of the Wangshan Hall to immediately start the quest.
Go to the entrance of Wangshan Hall and start a conversation with Huang the Third and Wen the Fourth to learn about the trials.
Follow Huang the Third to a nearby area called Plumwatcher Piles, where he will explain the rules of the first trial.
Complete the first trial by stepping on the stone piles in the order Huang the Third specifies within the allotted time.
After completing the first trial, Huang the Third will provide his evaluation, and only then will you be able to proceed to the next trial.
Follow Huang the Third to a nearby arena, and he will explain the rules of the second trial. Here, Huang the Third will ask you to destroy training dummies dressed in red without hitting a single dummy dressed in blue within the allotted time.
Complete the second trial by successfully destroying the nearby dummies in the area, following the rules set by Huang the Third.
Huang the Third will ignore the rules he explained, allowing you to pass the second trial regardless of the color of the dummy you destroy.
Climb the stairs and open the gate to Wangshan Hall. Once inside, initiate the tour by talking to Huang the Third.
Follow Huang the Third as he explains the history of Wangshan Hall. Repeat this process a couple of times until the tour is finished, and Huang the Third asks you for Mora.
Step to the side and talk to Paimon. During this conversation, Paimon will share her plans with you, and afterward, you will cook a salty dish known as The Paimon Special.
Return to Huang the Third and present The Paimon Special. Following that, you will threaten Huang the Third by informing him that you will report him to the authorities.
Huang the Third will reveal the truth and provide you with a copy of the Wangshan Hall Backup Key.
The quest isn't over yet though, as after the getting the backup key, the Scrolls and Sword Manuals of Guhua will unlock. Use the key to open the locked door to continue the quest!
