Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain |
You can unlock the Threefold Expectations after the cutscene with Hautemontagne during the Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain world quest.
The Threefold Expectation is a new world quest added in Version 4.4 at the Chenyu Vale region. Talk to Uncle Luo in the Qiaoying Village on the northeastern side of the Chenyu Vale region to start the quest.
Speak to Uncle Luo, and he will request you to adjust the three nearby Monoliths in the surrounding area. Easily locate these areas by opening your map or using the navigation feature.
| 1 |  Activate the pot with the Pyro symbol to drop the Jade Incense Cauldron from the sky. Position yourself behind the censers, then resonate with the Jade Cauldrons to light them all up. |

| 2 |  Next, activate the pot with the Anemo symbol to trigger the Wind Currents. Use them to fly and glide towards the nearby platform. Once you are there, you will have to deal with a couple of Anemo Slimes surrounding you until you can adjust the monolith. |
| 3 |  Lastly, activate the pot with the Hydro symbol and wait for the Lotus Lanterns to get into position. Once they're ready, interact with the Lotus Lantern behind you to summon a few enemies. Afterward, the Lotus Lamp will appear. Use the light from the Lotus Lamp to light the lanterns in the area. |
After adjusting all three monoliths, return and talk to Uncle Luo at the meeting point with Hautemontagne before heading to the teapot. This will immediately teleport you to a different area where you will have to fight a couple of enemies.
Defeat all the enemies that will spawn inside the teapot to complete the challenge.
Return to Uncle Luo and Hautemontagne to complete the quest.

I’ve given up because there’s four lanterns (yes, I’m in the right place) and nothing is working. My list of unfinished quests is growing daily because it’s so difficult using an iPad (including Long Shot and the Flying License). Love this game but it’s wearing me down.
