Objectives

Genshin - Luhua Landscape - Painting Locations
You’ll be tasked with searching for Vermeer’s supplies that he left nearby. If you check your quest items you can view his paintings to give you an idea of where to go.

Both locations have a view of the ruins so head to the Teleport Waypoint directly to the north and head up the hill to find the first set of supplies.

The second set of supplies is to the east, right next to the other Luhua Pool Teleport Waypoint. Grab both and head back down to Vermeer.

Vermeer will give you a Strange Stone so your next goal is to find a matching one. This can be found just to the north towards the water’s edge in some grass.

Return to the ruins, climb up each statue, and place the stones into them.

This will release the seal on the totem below. Hit it with a Geo attack to start a trial against three Abyss Mages of Pyro, Cryo, and Hydro element.

Defeat all three within 90 seconds to unlock the gate and claim your prizes, closing out this quest.

The fight against the Abyss Mages can be a bit tricky if you don't have the corresponding elements to quickly break their shields! Have a Geo Character handy for activating the totem and bring Pyro, Hydro, and Electro characters to reliably take out these enemies.

Personally, the rock wasn't where the tutorial said but in another of the pools like 10m distant
