How to Unlock Qiaoying, the Village of Many Tales

Complete the Prerequisites

Quest Unlock Requirements
	Danger Lurks Everywhere in Fontaine
	Qiaoying of the Sacred Mountain

You will first meet the NPC in this quest, Guijarro, during the Danger Lurks Everywhere in Fontaine.

This means Qiaoying, the Village of Many Tales can only be unlocked by progressing through Chapter 4 Act 2 and completing the prerequisite world quest to find Guijarro again in Qiaoying Village.

Find Guijarro in Qiaoying Village

After completing the prerequisite quests in Fontaine, fast travel to Qiaoying Village and head south to find Guijarro again with a cat.

Talk to her about the book she was working on and what brings her to Liyue to start Qiaoying, the Village of Many Tales.

Follow the Fleeing Cat

The cat's run off! And Guijarro too. Follow them to the bridge north and see if it shows a hint of being a Xuanwen Beast.

Welp, just an ordinary cute feline. Finish the conversation with Hung Fan and accompany Guijarro in looking for another material for her next book.

Collect Information with Guijarro

Head further to the north to check out the cauldron the village is using to make their special tea. Guijarro will get more ideas from the mechanism before asking you to join her outside the village.

Follow Guijarro

Go back south and walk towards the marker until you find a pair of fish lanterns leaning on a wall.

Take Pictures of the Lantern

Guijarro will ask you to take a picture of the lantern. The angle will already be set for you, so you can just adjust the zoom level as you desire or take the snap right away.

How did she even bolt out that fast? Go up the tea field so you can get a better view of the village and find Guijarro easier.

Hey, she's actually here!

Talk to Guijarro

Talk to her and see if she needs more material for her book. Apparently, she wants you to stand guard while she "spends the night standing with hands upraised".

You can actually leave her be as long as you return between 06:00 and 08:00. Talk to her the next morning to hear her final words (before fainting again) and complete the quest!
