Our Chenyu Vale Trek will be unlocked after completing after completing Threefold Expectations quest in Qiaoying Village!
Talk to Fangju in Yilong Wharf
After completing the prerequisite quest, travel to Yilong Wharf and find Fangju inside Hezhe Post—the tower next to the southern waypoint.
Our Chenyu Vale Trek Walkthrough
Complete the Chenyu Vale Scenic Photography Contest
There are four scenic spots to take a photo of for the contest that will be marked on your map. You'll need to take the photos at specific times using your Kamera Gadget to complete the objective.
Scenic Photography Contest Guide
Tranquil Jademouth

| ・Take a picture of the Jademouth and the pearl mounted on it. ・The picture should be taken between 08:00 - 10:00. |
Let's start with the closest spot down south at Jademouth. The photo must be taken in the morning, so stand on the designated location and skip time to 8:00.
Within the correct time window, point your Kamera to the large ring on your west side and take a photo of it with the gigantic pearl to get the picture of Tranquil Jademouth.
Guests of Qiaoying

| ・Take a picture of Qiaoying Village. ・The picture should be taken between 15:00 - 17:00. ・There must be a pelican on the water in the picture. ・The must be 2 Emerald Ducks in the picture. |
Travel next to Qiaoying Village located northeast of the map. As you approach the marked area, Paimon will notice a strange bird by the waters called a pelican and suggests that you include it in the next photo!
Talk to the little girl next to a pelican to learn a tiny bit about pelican language. You will learn how she calls them for food. Next, walk over to the designated spot near the bridge and skip the clock to 15:00 to get ample time for the shot.
Like what Mingjing taught you, you should call the pelicans' attention by shouting Hree hree! Hree hree anng anng hree hree!. Wait for them to flock together with the ducks and quickly take a photo of the village with the birds to get the picture of Guests of Qiaoying.
Lotus Pond Beneath the Moon

Head south to Teatree Slope and find the marked spot. You'll find elemental slimes upon your arrival, as said in the guidebook, which you will need to clear out before you can take a picture.
Once it's safe, adjust the time to 19:00 and stand on the spot at the edge of the pond to take a majestic picture of the Lotus Pond Beneath the Moon.
Mt. Xuanlian

For the last photo, travel further to the south near Mt. Xuanlian. You'll find a monster camp at the marked area instead, and you will need to rescue one of the contestants before you find the actual designated spot.
Akai will point you to the cliff nearby where you can take the photo. Skip the time to 17:00 and quickly take a photo of the scenery in front of you to get a picture of Mt. Xuanlian.
Time to head back!
Return to Hezhe Post
Go back to Yilong Wharf with the four photos so Fangju can submit them as your entries in the photography contest.
Wait Till 08:00 - 18:00 the Next Day
Pull out your clock again and skip to 8:00 of tomorrow to see if any of your submissions made it to the exhibit!
Visit the Exhibition of Selected Works Outside Hezhe Post
Don't be late! Run to the exhibit area and find Fangju at the square to see the winning photos. In addition to the base quest rewards, you will also receive the Our Chenyu Vale Trek Album containing all eight selected photos as you complete the quest!

You will also obtain the "Our Chenyu Vale Trek" Album quest item as a reward for completing the World Quest. The album can be opened in your inventory to view all of the selected entries in the photography contest.

Anonymous over 1 yearthis quest does not require completing "the roaming abode" to obtain and complete this quest. i noticed upon clearing this quest after using the walkthrough that i have yet to even obtain or finish the roaming abode quest. (proof pictured)
