The Chi of Yore Quest Guide and Fragment Locations

The Chi of Yore (formerly known as The Chi of Guyun) is a Liyue World Quest in Genshin Impact. Check out how to start and complete The Chi of Yore, all fragment locations, and quest rewards in this walkthrough guide!

How to Start The Chi of Yore

Located in Bishui Plain

You can start Chi of Yore the by talking to Yan'er near the ruins in Bishui Plain located south of Qingce Village.

How to Complete The Chi of Yore

Investigate the Ruin

	Walkthrough
1	Head northwest to the marked location.
2	Interact with the Incomplete Writing at the center.
3	You’ll have to search for 3 Special Geo statues. Directly south near the orange stones is the first. Activate it and search for the next. Afterwards, collect the Fragment from the Treasure Chest that appears

Ask the Locals of Qingce Village

In Qingce Village, speak to the villagers until one of them gives you an option to examine the fragment. Afterwards, talk to Granny Ruoxin at the top of the village.

Highest Point of Qingce Village

	Walkthrough
1	The first location is at the top of the highest cliff near the village so it's time to start climbing.
2	Once there, you will have to activate 4 of the statues in the following order: - Facing the windy ruins obscured by a tree (north) - Facing the snowy mountain (east) - Facing Wangshu Inn (south) - Facing the rocky peaks in the distance (southwest)

Search for Fragments Near the Geo Statues

	Walkthrough
1	Head to the Northeast of Bishui Plain.
2	Activate the statues in the order above. Afterwards, collect the Fragment inside the Treasure Chest.

Decipher the Fragment

After collecting all three Fragments, go back to Qingce Village and talk to Granny Ruoxin.

Find a Way Into The Vault

To get inside the vault, go to the entrance the found at right side of the waterfall. Follow it down into the vault and open the gate with the fragments.

Search The Vault

	Walkthrough
1	Take care of the Treasure Hoarders and activate the pedestal in the center.
2	Defeat 4 Ruin Guards while protecting the Qingce Cache from damage.
3	After taking out the Ruin Guards, a Ruin Hunter will appear. Defeat it without the Qingce Cache breaking to move on.
4	Once all of the enemies are down, head north towards the marker for your treasure.

After collecting the Treasure, head back to Qingce Village and talk to Granny Ruoxin to complete the quest!

Geo Statue Locations Near Wuwang Hill

Fragment 1 - Three Geo Statues Near Wuwang Hill

The first fragment is located near chunks of Amber in three corners of the ruins. You must activate three geo statues in order to collect the fragment from the Treasure Chest.

Highest Point in Qinqce Village

Fragment #2 - Highest Point in Qingce Village

Mountaintop Statues Order

The second fragment is located atop the mountain between Qingce Village and Wuwang Hill. Activate the statues in the order above to get the second fragment.

Near the Geo Statues in Qinqce Village

Fragment #3 - Entrance to Qingce Village

Ruins Statue Order

The third fragment can be found near the entrance to Qinqce Village. Activate the statues in the order above to get the final fragment.
