How to Unlock
Go to Wanmin Restaurant to Start the Quest
Hereafter: The Trail of Pervases quest should automatically unlock when you go to the Wanmin Restaurant in Liyue Harbor. Talk to Chef Mao to start the quest!
Complete Xiao's Story Quest
You need to complete Xiao's Story Quest, Butterfly's Dream, to unlock the Hereafter: The Trail of Pervases quest. Returning characters like Xiao, the Starsnatcher, and even the Pervases statue makes a reappearance!
Time-Locked Quest
The Hereafter questline is time-locked. Depending on your server, chances are the Hereafter quests may unlock the day after you complete the prerequisite quest.

- Save the person in danger
- Go back to the Pervases statue

| 1 |  Approach Wanmin Restaurant to automatically start the quest. If you did not get the quest, chances are it's not yet available in your World. Read on to learn how to unlock this quest here! |
| 2 |  Teleport to Mt. Tiansheng and head to the shack with the Pervases' statue. Then, talk to Xiao. |
| 3 |  Rescue Wang Ping'an from two Hilichurls. |
| 4 |  Head back to the shack with the Pervases' statue to end the quest. Wang Ping'an will mention to ''come back once work has started'', and so you need to wait until server reset to unlock the next quest! |

Prepare 12 Sandbearer Wood
After completing the Trail of Pervases, you will need to wait for the server to reset to unlock the next quest. While waiting, you can take the time to prepare 12 Sandbearer Wood which will be needed in the All is Well quest.
