To unlock The Chasm Charters, you must first finish The Fond Farewell of the Archon Quest Chapter 1, Act 3 and reach Adventure Rank 28. Once done, talk to Lan or Xu in Liyue Harbor to unlock both The Chasm Delvers and The Chasm Charters quests.
Chapter 1: Act 3 Story Quest Guide
To begin the quest, go to Liyue Harbor and talk to Lan or Xu. Speak with either of them to begin the quest to the underground mines. Although it is preferable to speak with Xu because he will provide you with a Mora Purse.
Lan may be found next to the Adventurer's Guild, while Xu can be found in the Feiyun Commerce Guild.
Proceed to the Chasm after chatting with Lan or Xu. You can reach it via the teleport waypoints at Qingxu Pool or Lingju Pass. When you arrive, there will be a brief scene with the Millelith before they let you in.
How to Go to The Chasm's Mines
Head inside past the Millelith to trigger another scene, then follow the quest marker to find Muning. After the scene with Muning, you'll receive a note from him, and your next task is to find the adventurer Zhiqiong.
