Mysterious Ore 1 - Road to the Singularity

Complete the Road to the Singularity world quest to access the depths of Kuisel's Clockwork Workshop where the Mysterious Ore is located.

The quest can be triggered by going inside the workshop north of the New Fontaine Research Institute area!

Mysterious Ore 2 - Central Laboratory Ruins

Teleport to the Central Laboratory Ruins and head to the largest Allogravity-Condensed Water Body. Dive down until you find a rock pile. Destroy the rock pile with the Xenochromatic Jellyfish's ability to reveal the Mysterious Ore.

Mysterious Ore 3 - Robotic Arm Hilichurl Camp

Another Mysterious Ore is located southeast of the Central Laboratory Ruins. The ore will be on the raised arm of a robotic structure in the middle of a Hilichurl Camp.

Mysterious Ore 4 - Experimental Field Generator Arena

Climb the northern wall surrounding the Experimental Field Generator boss arena. You will find the Mysterious Ore amongst a pile of rubble on the topmost ledge facing the arena. There will be a Hydroculus across on the other ledge!

Mysterious Ore 5 - Treacherous Light of the Depths

Complete the Treacherous Light of the Depths world quest to access the area where a Mysterious Ore is located.

You can trigger this quest by diving in the lake east of the Experimental Field Generator boss.

Mysterious Ore 6 - Unfinished Comedy

Get a Mysterious Ore in the An Eye for an Eye sub-quest of the Unfinished Comedy world quest! This ore is located inside the Fortress of Meropide where the quest is triggered.

Mysterious Ore 7 - Destroy the Thorny Cyst

Enter the Cave South of Mount Esus East

Teleport to Mount Esus East and head south to the waterfalls. Dive into the water and further down a cave until you awaken the Thorny Cyst.

Note that the waters in this cave will continuously deal damage to your active character as long as the Thorny Cyst is there. Use the nearby Recovery Orbs to keep your characters alive.

Destroy the Thorny Cyst Roots

The Thorny Cyst will have extensions sticking out of it that you must destroy using the Xenochromatic Jellyfish's ability. Enemies will also be summoned periodically so watch out!

Pop the Thorny Cyst to Get Mysterious Ore and a Luxurious Chest

Pop the Thorny Cyst by continuously attacking it and its roots! After popping the Thorny Cyst, you can get the Mysterious Ore at its center, as well as the Break the Time Zone achievement, and a Luxurious Chest.

Use to Create the Arkhium Stock for the Forging Press Puzzle

Once you've collected all seven Mysterious Ores, it will automatically turn into Arkhium Stock. This can be used in the underground Forging Press found past the Millennial Pearl Seahorse cave!

Use to Unlock the Secret Study

You can use the Arkhium Stock to complete the press preparation work and create the Arkhium Lumenite, which in turn unlocks the door found southwest of the Experimental Field Generator near a Teleport Waypoint.
