Puzzle Solution Overview
- Collect 7 Mysterious Ores to get the Arkhium Stock
- Put the Arkhium Stock in the Forging Press

- Return to the Power System and continue forging

Collect 7 Mysterious Ores to Get the Arkhium Stock
You need to collect all 7 Mysterious Ores to get the Arkhium Stock. The Mysterious Ores will automatically turn into Arkhium Stock after collecting all of them!

Put the Arkhium Stock in the Forging Press
Once you have the Arkhium Stock, you can put it inside the Forging Press to start. Simply put the Arkhium Stock in the Forging Press to do it.

Ensure that the Pipelines Don't have a Leak
There are three pipelines that are currently broken. Fix them first before using the Power System to start forging.
First Pipeline
The first pipeline is at the eastern side of the area. There aren't any tricky parts for this one, so just turn the valve until you don't see gas leaking from the pipeline anymore.
Second Pipeline
The second pipeline is at the southern part of the area. You need to retrieve a Handwheel below and near two enemies before you can fix it. Attach the Handwheel to the pipeline once you get it and turn it until the gas stops from leaking
Third Pipeline
You can find the third and final pipeline at the western side of the area. You only need to turn the valve twice to fix the pipeline.
Activate the Power System and Start Forging
Return to the Forging Press and activate the Power Supply System. Hit "Press" when an orange circular light emits from the Arkhium Stock. Keep repeating this process until the system overheats.
Cool Down the Power System
You can cool down the power system by defeating all the Pyro Slimes in the area and dousing the Forging Press with Hydro. You will also need to activate the Cooling System to fully cool down the Power System.
Activating the Cooling System
You can activate the Cooling System by going to the lowest part of the area and breaking the rock under a Hydroculus. Doing so will flood the area with water and activate the Cooling System.
Return to the Power System and Continue Forging
Go back to the Power System and start pressing again until you encounter another problem with the system. The problem this time is about the system getting flooded with water.
Remove the Water Inside the System
Dive underwater and absorb the Xenochromatic Hunter's Ray to remove the vines that hold a Xenochromatic Jellyfish. Absorb that Jellyfish's ability once it's free, as you will need it to remove the Red Meanies and fix the problem.
Xenochromatic Fontemer Abilities Guide
First Set of Red Meanies
The first set of Red Meanies are in the southeast part of the area. Get close to one of them and use the Xenochromatic ability to hit the farthest one and immediately hit the closest one with a normal attack to pop both at once.
Second Set of Red Meanies
The second set of Red Meanies is located southwest of the area. Simply throw the Xenochromatic Jellyfish ability between the three Red Meanies to hit them both in one shot.
Activate the Emergency Drainage Function
Activate the Emergency Drainage Function using the nearby mechanism. You can find it slightly on the right and behind the Power System, facing the Forging Press.
Resume Forging and Get the Arkhium Lumenite
Everything should be fixed now at this part. Head back to the Power System and start forging again. An orange-colored "Press" text will appear after that, indicating that it is the final press to forge the Arkhium Lumenite.
Swim through the water and grab the Arkhium Lumenite before leaving! You can use the Arkhium Lumenite to unlock Bravais' Secret Study and get the Not so Strait is the Gate achievement.

Under the Submerged Stony Path
You can find the Forging Press Puzzle under the Submerged Stony Path underwater. You can get there by accessing the cave near Millennial Pearl Seahorse and passing through the metal door and pipes until you reach the end.
