How to Unlock Midsummer Island Adventure

The Midsummer Island Adventure is only available for players at Adventure Rank 21 or above. You will need to complete Prologue: Act III and Klee's Story Quest (which will be unlocked at AR 21 for a limited time) to participate in the event.

Midsummer Island Adventure Release Date

The Midsummer Island Adventure Event was released along with Version 1.6 of Genshin Impact on June 9, 2021. The event will take place on the limited-time area Dodo Land, and will not be accessible after Version 1.6.

Midsummer Island Adventure Location

New Event Area: Dodo Land

Dodo Land is a limited-time area only available during Version 1.6. Once Version 1.6 is over, you will not be able to return to Dodo Land to participate in its events, complete its World Quests, or explore the archipelago anymore.

How to Play Minigame

Destroy enemy forts at sea with the help of your Waverider! Sail on the Waverider and fire its cannons to shoot structures down, while occasionally getting off the boat to fight enemies hand-to-hand. Beware of whirlpools that suck Waveriders in!

Act I rewards you with Shiny Flotsam, which you can use to buy valuable items in the event shop!

How to Play Minigame

Speed through a seaborne course on the Waverider and an airborne course on your glider, and collect as many Wavesplitter Insignias as you can. Your points depend on the amount of Wavesplitter Insignias you have and the remaining challenge time!

You get rewards after hitting the 10,000, 20,000, and 30,000 points milestones.

The event will introduce a new item box that lets you choose and obtain Weapon Billets! Weapon Billets, which were previously called Weapon Prototypes, are used to craft certain 4-Star Weapons.

Fragments of Innocence

The use of Fragments of Innocence hasn't been revealed yet, but it's possible the Dodoco Tales catalyst's refinement material. We'll update this section once it's been confirmed!
