After Update 1.6, players can still battle Maguu Kenki on a different location, but will no longer do challenges related to this event.

How to Play Samurai Sighted... To Arms!

Head to the Marked Location

Location	Twinning Isle, Golden Apple Archipelago

Maguu Kenki is located near a Teleport Waypoint and a Waverider Waypoint so you can easily teleport there or summon a Waverider to leave it!

How to Defeat Maguu Kenki

Round up your best characters and begin the challenge! Defeat the Maguu Kenki and receive the rewards from the Trounce Blossom.

Challenge Maguu Kenki Three Times

You need to challenge this boss three times to complete all the Challenge Missions. Like other Field Boss enemies, the Maguu Kenki will respawn some time after you defeat it!

Go Melee on Maguu Kenki

One of the challenge missions will need you to defeat the Maguu Kenki without triggering its Mask Parry. The Mask Parry is only triggered by long-ranged attacks, so using only Melee Characters to defeat it will complete the challenge!

Avoid Being Hit By Mask and Phantom Attacks

For another Challenge, you will need to defeat the Maguu Kenki without being hit by its mask and phantom attacks, which are in the form of Anemo or Cryo. Observe its attacks closely to dodge them!

Shielded Melee Team

An all-Melee team is recommended so you don't accidentally trigger the Maguu Kenki's Mask Parry with ranged attacks! The Pyro Resonance and Vaporize Reactions will help deal massive DMG to the Maguu Kenki, while Zhongli's shields keep Hu Tao safe at low HP levels.

Zhongli	・Can decrease damage taken with shields. ・Jade Shield's debuff on enemies close by will increase damage output.
Noelle	・Can decrease damage taken with shields. ・Can provide both damage and healing.
Hu Tao	・Deals tons of damage with her Elemental Burst. ・Strong Main DPS with great damage output.
Diluc	・Can use his Elemental Skill and Birst often. ・Strong Main DPS with great damage output.
Beidou	・Strong Main DPS with good damage output. ・Aim for Tidecaller counters for even greater damage.
Bennett	・Can support and heal. ・Use his Elemental Burst to increase your close-combat attack power.
