The difference is that both Alhaitham and Neuvillette still has some means to quickswap. Alhaitham has 2 second window during his burst to quickly cast your sub-dps skill (ping dependant) also depending on your rotation combo Alhaitham on-field time can vary and Neuvillette can still quickswap between his CA session to swirl Hydro with your Anemo.
Intellectual? You sound like such a fucking loser lmao.
btw ayaya even lower now. im sure soon she will fall below 4-5%. on the bottom where she should be
remember clowns from furina page? they promised furina will flop in the next update lmao. its 4.3 pick rate statistics. such a big flop yeah)0)0
Names are just for fun, I call my hyperbloom team 911
Intresting point, 🤔 but then I'd label that 'Double Hydro' with Hu Tao Carry' as I'd label my current Ayaka team as 'Freeze' with Ayaka main.' 😅
My idea of hypercarry is 'buff the shit out of your main dps', so I would say Ayaka is hypercarry indeed, a team like Hu Tao vape is not hypercarry cuz a (really) big chunck of dmg comes from subs like yelan and XQ
True, but my point is that 'hypercarrys' are usaly known for being inflexable not just for the team needing to be buit around them but also due the amount of time the Main DPS needs to stay out in field playing out their attacks? This is'nt the problem with Ayaka indeed her playstyle strikes me as closer to 'rotaional' nature of Navia than the 'DPS window' of Neuvillette. So perhaps my issue is simply with the deffintion of her as a 'Hypercarry' over 'DPS Main'?
but its ok ayaka mains, you guys can get her to c4. give her favonius sword and emblem so you use her as sub dps and def shred support for neuvillette freeze team lol.
in her best team she is a hypercarry. that team is all about maximizing her dps alone.
Well Ayaka isnt realy what I'd consider a hypercarry? Sure, Cryo support's do offten use her as the teams main DPS. But Ayaka frontloads so much of her DPS, you dont want to keep her out in field like you would Neuvillette/Alhaitham/Itto. I don't see Ayaka as the problem, it's that Abyss ALWAYS has Anti-Freeze considerations in both halves of its floors, like unfreezeable bosses/elites and the high DPS checks. + A lack of new Pyro/Melt options is also badly hurting all the Cryo DPS.
and her freeze team is played like your typical hypercarry setup. she needs cryo dedicated support to do viable dm - shenhe. ayaka really is just one of the mid inflexible hyper dps - joining the miditto, midwanderer, mideula, midxiao gang. only neuv is relevant hyper dps now.
when it is ayaka rerun but its rizzley who becomes the most used dps to solo this abyss.
So the way I see Ayaka's move down isn't so much her getting a downgrade, as much as Cryo on the whole doesn't seem to have had the boost we expected from Hydro, in particular Furina, to give it. As the Fontaine Characters are not really about direct EM and reaction numbers (tho a number of them can be used well in EM teams) This is one reason Hu Tao is still in SS, as apart from Vape she can make good use of the HP sacrifice mechanics. The 3Cryo DPS' are all still very good, just less 'meta'.
Talking about cryo DPS honourable mention to Shenhe + Chongyun, started as a meme build but ngl she hits like a truck, more than Hu Tao and Ayaka. Sadly she's not as good in abyss but still very funny lol
honestly if ill someday find myself in need of cryo dps ill pick wrio then. his kit feels more fresh and new for me. i have ganyu too, sadly im using her only for off field cryo. charged shots from controller isnt the thing i like. both of them are good in their own niches and only ayaya remains forgotten lmao
based btw, ganyu is flexible too and its one of the reasons coz i love her as a cryo dps more. ayaya has one of the most boring kits in the game, yeah, shes easy to use but weak and can fill only one role with one team, her gameplay is braindead just slap ult and all lmao. ganyu is skill-dependant unit, she can be really good if u can learn charged shots mechanic, she can be sub dps and cryo enabler. surprisingly her gameplay feels more intellectual lol
I agree, Ayaka can only rely on freeze while You Tao has way more options (vape, melt, mono, I used her with Raiden before for some boom boom dmg and you could even use her for burgeon lol), she could even be used as nuke quick swap. In terms of cryo DPS, I prefer Ganyu. I admit that she may deal less dmg or be boring to play, but just because of her useful kit that makes her a sub when needed or main DPS is just too good, I used her for my melt Hu Tao and works great
anyway, even at c0 dmg wise hu tao is stronger. its a fact lol. at c0 she requires some practice to be effective but even at c0 she easily beats ayaya in the current meta. every dps in ss category beats ayaya though, its not a big deal coz ayaya is just a bad unit bruh. cryo itto with zero team flexibility, shes not flexible at all lmao. meanwhile hu tao can be played even with baizhu furina and it'll be mb not best, but good team. cryo as element got nothing from dendro and new fontaine meta
i agree she is a little uncomfortable at c0 but if shes 'hard' for you at c1 then its literally pure example of skill issue lol. at c1 shes really good and one of the few best dps in game. i never ran out of stamina at c1, everything dies faster. mb her playstyle just not ur cup of tea and its ok, but personal preferences doesnt make unit 'overrated' lmao
