Cross-Play Between Platforms is Possible
Yes, Genshin Impact supports cross-platform play on mobile, PC, and PlayStation. So, whether you're at home on your PC or PlayStation, or on the move on your mobile phone, you can get into the game and play with friends regardless of which platform they're using!
Devices Where Crossplay is Available
- Mobile (Android and iOS)
- PC
- PS4
- PS5
Crossplay Is Only Available on the Same Server
You can only play cross-platform if the person you're trying to play with is on the same server as you. If you want to play with your friends make sure you all pick the same server region!
Crossplay Between Platforms
Crossplay Genshin Impact on Playstation
When Version 2.0 became available, the linking between Hoyoverse Accounts (for PC/Mobile Players) and PlayStation Network Accounts was also introduced. Once linked, it allows players from different devices to crossplay and save to Playstation!

Crossplay Genshin Impact on Mobile Devices and PC
Crossplay between mobile devices and PC is also possible. Crossplaying on mobile devices allows players to pick up where they left off while playing on PC, no matter where they are.
The only downside of playing the game on mobile is that, because Genshin Impact is a fairly large game, especially for smartphones, it may heat up pretty quickly.
Genshin and Crossplay Is Not Available for Switch
Currently, Genshin Impact is not available for the Nintendo Switch. We will update this section once there have been further announcements.
Available in XBox in 2024
Genshin Impact is coming to Xbox on November 20, 2024, as announced at Gamescom 2024 and on Xbox social media channels.

Cross Saves has been confirmed for the game, and you can just log in with your Hoyoverse account either on PC, Mobile, or Console to continue playing where you left off.
