Genshin Impact: Required Resource Package for PS4

The developers just launched a “Genshin Impact: Required Resource Package” for Genshin Impact on the PlayStation 4. After the Version 4.3 update, this resource package will be required to start the game.

PS4 Genshin players can install this resource package by searching “Genshin Impact: Required Resource Package” or by searching the Genshin Impact game and then looking under “Add-Ons.”

How to Pre-Install Updates

How to Pre-Install on Mobile

There are 2 ways Travelers can pre-install updates on Mobile: through the app's log-in screen or through the setting's Resource Packages.

Method 1: Log-In Screen Pre-Installation

To Pre-Install through the log-in screen, open Genshin Impact and tap on the Update Button on the bottom left side of the screen.

Method 2: Obtain Resource Packages

Go to in-game settings and select the ''Other'' tab. There should be a row that says ''Pre-Install Resource Package''. Click on Pre-Install Now to begin the download.

You can't play during Pre-Installation!

Keep in mind that once the game is pre-installing, you can't log in and play Genshin Impact. It's best to finish important tasks in the game (Domains, Story, and World Quests) before starting the pre-installation process.

How to Pre-Install on PC

Step 1: Update the Game Launcher

To Pre-Install the latest update, update your game launcher as soon as pre-installation is available. Once it's done, click the Game Pre-Installation button to begin downloading the game resources.

Step 2: Restart and Update Your Launcher

Once the new version is available, all you need to do is to reopen the game launcher and click Update. The update would begin installing, and you can begin playing without needing to add additional resources.
