The Sumeru Desert contains multiple cave entrances hidden behind temples and underground. Here's how to get to each cave entrances in Sumeru and a guide to everything in it!

Great Red Sand	Desert of Hadramaveth	Girdle of the Sands

There are a total of 61 cave entrances in the Sumeru Desert, 28 of which are found in the Great Red Sand Desert and 19 entrances are found in the Desert of Hadramaveth!

As of Version 3.6, 14 Cave Entrances were added with the release of the Girdle of the Sands Desert!

From the waypoint, head down until you reach the ruin temple's entrance. Eremites are stationed around, as well as a few Fungi enemies.

Travel northeast and use the Four-Leaf Sigils to reach the second entrance.

Khaji Nisut can be unlocked by doing the Golden Slumber subquest, Dreams Beneath the Searing Sand.

Abdju Pit Cave Entrances and Locations

Use the teleport waypoint or the Red Desert Threshold domain, drop down to the bottom of the pit until you see a small camp. Turn right and you'll see a small entrance towards a temple. This is also the quest area for the Golden Quest.

Use the teleport waypoint or the Red Desert Threshold domain, drop down to the bottom of the pit until you see a small camp. Turn left until you see a couple of Whirling Pyro Fungi by the entrance.

Use the teleport waypoint to transport to the entrance of this ruin temple. This entrance is interconnected to the tunnel system during the Golden Slumber, Lost in the Sands quest.

Dar al-Shifa Cave Entrances and Locations

From the teleport waypoint, turn left to the direction of the ruined buildings. Eremites have camped here, but you can use the Four-Leaf Sigils to catapult yourself closer without engaging in a battle.

Before the entrance of the building, a gaping hole on the ground serve as its entrance underground. Hilichurls are here. This also serves as a connecting tunnel to the fourth cave entrance.

From the teleport waypoint, drop down to the entrance of the cave. This serves as the entrance to the Dendro Hypostasis.

This is entrance can be opened by using the connecting tunnels from the gaping hole entrance. Destroy the pile of rocks from the Fourth Chamber to get this entrance. Inside are Precious Chest and Dendroculus for you to collect!

Valley of Dahri Cave Entrances and Locations

From the teleport waypoint, drop down until you spot a group of Eremites guarding an entrance. Going further shows a small oasis with Eremites occupying the area. A Dendroculus can be found here.

Teleport to the Statue of the Seven and head north. Move forward until you see the gaping hole on the ground. The area far below is connected to the previous cave entrance.

This can be unlocked by talking to Afratu and triggering the quest, Afratu's Dillemma. Move in front of the rock wall while the Ruin Golem is firing at you. When it gets hit, the wall will crumble and reveal a new path. Move forward and use the Four-Leaf Sigils to go up the golem's arm.

Open the path by destroying the rock wall with the golem during Afratu's Dillemma. Inside, Electro monuments need to be lit up and a Dendroculus can be collected.

Enter Thutmose's Secret Base and travel to the marked location. Explosive Geo barrels are stationed near the rock wall that'll break it from the inside. The Sacred Seal: Thunderstrike is also found here.

Lamb Devourer Rock Cave Entrance

Unlock the Thutmose's Secret Base by following the Eremite mercenary for the password.

Khemenu Temple Cave Entrances and Locations

From either the teleport waypoint or the Statue of the Seven, move towards the temple. This temple is first accessed by starting An Introduction to Indoor Archaeology sub-quest of the Golden Slumber. There are multiple puzzles and stories behind this area.

The Dune of Elusion Cave Entrances and Locations

Use the teleport waypoint to arrive directly in front of the temple's entrance. You can unlock the entrance to this by accomplishing the Dune of Elusion Puzzle.

Move to the southwest of the temple until you see a building rising halfway above ground. There's a Dendroculus in this area that you can get by lighting the Pyro monuments.

Use the Four-Leaf Sigils atop the temple to quickly swing your way to the other side of the map.

Use the teleport waypoint to arrive directly in front of the temple's entrance.

Walk around the temple to get to the other side. There's a group of Eremites guarding around the entrance.

From the second location, climb up the sand dunes until you spot a Four-Leaf Sigil. Use them to reach the temple. You can unlock the entrance to this by accomplishing the Dune of Magma Puzzle.

Teleport to the teleport waypoint at the mausoleum. You can enter the mausoleum by playing through the Golden Slumber sub-quest, The Secret of Al-Ahmar.

Go to the teleport waypoint and glide down the hole to enter the cave.

Teleport to the teleport waypoint and move north until you see another temple. The locked temple's entrance will be at the previous location, down the gaping hole facing their direction. There will be puzzles inside and an Obelisk mechanism to unlock the door.
