How to Unlock Gurabad's Ruin

Open the Gate to the Temple

To unlock Gurabad's Ruin and the Temple of Deshret, you have to activate the Rune Mechanism. Turn the wind current to face the gate, blowing away the sand and revealing the cube mechanism that opens the gate.

Rune Mechanism Puzzles

Common Chest Rune Mechanism

Located just inside the first entrance to Gurabad's Ruin, you will encounter a Rune Mechanism and a switch. Hit the Rune Mechanism once and turn the switch and let the air pass through the vent in the wall to get a Common Chest!

Moving Rune Mechanism

Inside the second entrance to Gurabad's Ruin, there is another Rune Mechanism. Hit it until the wind faces the wall and move it once to blow away the sand and reveal a switch.

Hit the switch and move the Rune Mechanism back to its original position to reveal a Common Chest!

Pyro Torch Puzzle

Locked Exquisite Chest Puzzle

Found in the second room with a Teleport Waypoint is a locked Exquisite Chest. You have to use the Replicator Keystone to create a Verity Cell that will reveal the 4 Pyro Torches in the room.

Use Replicated Keystone for a Verity Cell

Go to the upper left corner of the room where you can blow away a pile of sand to get a Forged Primal Light. Use the Forged Primal Light on the Replicator Keystone to create a Verity Cell.

Reveal and LIght up Four Pyro Torches

Use the Verity Cell to reveal the four Pyro Torches around the room; two in front of the jackal statues and two in each corner across the room. Light up all Pyro Torches to unlock the treasure chest!

Weathered Obelisk Puzzles

Common Chest Weathered Obelisk

At the bottom of the room with the broken floor are three Weathered Obelisks. Hit these Weathered Obelisks until they match the pattern of a forest, a snake, and three dots to get a Common Chest.

Primal Sandglass Puzzle

Go further underground in the second entrance to the Gurabad's Ruin, in the area with water and large roots. Use the Replicator Keystone by the stairs to create a Primal Sandglass and turn all three sandglasses for an Exquisite Chest.
