Teleport to the Aaru Village waypoint and take a few steps in front of the Village Chief's House. The Activation Device should be placed directly on the ledge that overlooks the village.

This is only possible after placing the Border Fort Chess Piece in the Chess Board area.

Follow the Activation Device

Once approached, the activation device will begin to move, follow the activation device until it reaches the end of the bridge and pick it up.

Install the Activation Device

Install the activation device to the Border Fort chess piece. Once installed, it will give you a remarkable chest and will allow you to teleport back to Aaru Village. Installing all 7 activation devices on the pieces unlocks the La Luna Rossa achievement.
