How to Complete the Discarded Insignia

	Walkthrough
1	Talk to the Electro Fatui in Minacious Isle.
2	Find the Old Insignia in Pudding Isle.
3	Give the Old Insignia to the Electro Fatui.
4	Activate Cryo-Anemo-Pyro-Hydro totems.
5	Enter the portal through an updraft.
6	Talk to Chevka by the big shell.
7	Look for Yakov in the tent.
8	Proceed to the next quest in Broken Isle.

How to Find a Way to Open the Path that Yakov Took

Activate the Monuments in Order

To open up the path Yakov took, activate the following monuments in order:

1. Activate the Cryo monument.
2. Activate the Anemo monument.
3. Activate the Pyro monument.
4. Activate the Hydro monument.

This will spawn a portal, which you will use to transport yourself to the starting island!

This clue came from the text under the Phantasmal Conch archive, Secret Mission Log: VIII! It mentions about lights going from white, green, red, then blue, which corresponds to the order of monuments!

Activate the Anemo Monument to Create a Wind Current

After opening the portal, you can activate the Anemo Monument again to create a wind current that can raise you up!

Monuments Not Staying Activated

The elemental symbols above the monument will disappear as you cycle through each of them, but as long as you activate it in order, it will still register! Instead, a star symbol above the monument is your indicator.

Portal Not Appearing

If the portal is not showing, a couple of reasons can be attributed to it:

1. Monuments not activated in order.
2. Monuments were not reset before attempting again.
3. Monuments were activated in order but it reset in the middle.

As the elemental symbols won't stay after you activate each monuments, a good indicator that the monuments have been activated is the star symbol above them. To reset all monuments, simply activate all four monuments until the stars disappear.

How to Find the Electrohammer Fatui in Minacious Isle

A wind pinwheel can be blown near the Cryo totem to create an updraft. It'll let you glide up the mountain in Minacious Isle. You can see the Electrohammer Vanguard near the top of the mountain!

Otherwise, you can also use the Anemo Totem instead to create the same updraft and boosting rings.

The Electrohammer Fatui is found in the original map layout. One of the platforms in Minacious Island can change the layout of the island. Simply approach a platform and select place in water to switch to the old map layout.

Where to Look for Yakov

After entering the portal, you will be transported to the starting island. Talk to Chevka in the Dodoco hut to complete this objective!

Look for Traces of the Other Group's Members

If you haven't completed the Mirror Maiden's quest, Yakov and Chevka will direct you to the next quest, The Misplaced Photo. Otherwise, you'll unlock the A Misplaced Conch quest.
