What Does the Elemental Totem Monuments in Minacious Isle Do?

Anemo Totem Creates Updrafts

The Anemo Monument activates Wind Currents and updrafts around the island. It is especially helpful in reaching high mountainous places, or creating wind circles to boost your speed when doing Time Trial Challenges.

Cryo Totem Spawns Dream Forms

The Cryo Monument activates fog around the island. This also spawns Dream Form animals around both island styles, which you will have to touch and follow for Treasure Chests and puzzle clues.

Hydro Totem Reveals Bridges

The Hydro Monument activates rain and reflections. These reflections show invisible chests on puddles. The rain also faintly reveals invisible bridges and platforms when going around the New Style of the island.

Pyro Totem Resets the Island

The Pyro Monument resets all configurations of the island back to normal. This doesn't seem to change anything important.

How to Solve All Minacious Isle Elemental Totem Puzzles

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #1

A locked Exquisite Chest in the Old Style of Minacious Isle is activated by gathering the Dream Form animals to the chest. You can only access this by activating the Cryo Elemental Totem on the west area.

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #1 Walkthough

	Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #1
1	Activate the Cryo Monument in the Old Minacious Isle Style. Head to the Exquisite Chest location afterwards.
1	Move the Crane, Squirrel, and Boar to the center by touching it. If the animal is already near the chest, do not touch it anymore.
2	When all animals gather in the middle, the Exquisite Chest will unlock.

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #2

This puzzle is required to complete for The Discarded Insignia quest. Once you're tasked to find the Fatui, activate the following monuments in order:

1. Activate the Cryo totem.
2. Activate the Anemo totem.
3. Activate the Pyro totem.
4. Activate the Hydro totem.

Afterwards, activate the Anemo monument or the Anemo pinwheel to create an updraft to the portal.

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #3

Switch to the New Island style by using the Blue Platform, and interact with the Aged Stone Tablet inside the cave among Elemental Monuments. This tablet will tell you the following:

"...As far up as in front of the stone wall, and as far down as the banks of the shallow bay, there are symbols of four different elements..."

The hint written on the tablet tells you about the elemental symbols found In the western side of the island. This also tells you the order of Elements the totem needs to be activated.

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #3 Walkthrough

Activate the Minacious Isle elemental monuments in the following order:

1. Activate the Pyro totem.
2. Activate the Anemo totem.
3. Activate the Cryo totem.
4. Activate the Hydro totem.

The hint can be seen in the following steps:

	Elemental Totem Order Hint
1	Activate the Cryo monument beside the tablet in the cave. This triggers the spawning of the Dream Form animals that appear in the island.
2	Find the Second Tablet in the far western side of the island.
3	Follow the Dream Form animal and remember the hints where it stops.
4	The Crane stops at a Hydro symbol on water.
5	Climb up the hill. The Dream Form animal will be near a Cryo symbol on the wall.
6	Walk the invisible bridge to the Dream Form.
7	The Dream Form stops nearby a Dandelion Seed flower. The red dried leaves you see resemble the Anemo symbol.
8	Climb over the rock to reveal bushes resembling the Pyro symbol. You can collect the Common Chest from the Dream Form as a reward!
9	Return to the cave and activate the Pyro-Anemo-Cryo-Hydro monuments. This is based on the hint that you must activate it from top to bottom! Remember to reset all monuments first before attempting the order. You can do this by activating all four totems until the star mark above each monuments disappears.
10	If done successfully, the portal will appear. You can get inside the portal by using the Anemo totem or the Anemo pinwheel nearby to create an updraft.
11	You will be transported to an area way above the mountain. Obtain the three Starlight Coalescences and a Luxurious Chest as a reward!

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #4

A tablet beside a locked Exquisite Chest in the middle of the New Island style tells you the following:

"...On a foggy day, the phantom haze obscures ordinary sight, and the hidden scenery may be espied through obstructing objects..."

The "foggy day" it mentioned is the activation of the Cryo monument inside the big cave underneath the western side of the island. Dream Forms of animals will appear upon doing so.

	Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #4
1	Activate the Cryo monument beside the tablet in the cave.
2	An animal with a Dream Form of a crane will appear near the monument.
3	Touch and follow the crane until it reaches to the Exquisite Chest.
4	Torches will spawn when the Crane goes near the chest. Ignite the torches with Pyro to unlock the chest.

Minacious Isle Totem Puzzle #5

Three pressure plates and a locked Common Chest is activated by Dream Forms, so use the Cryo Monument. This puzzle can be found south of the cave in the New Minacious Isle Style.

Activate the Cryo monument inside the cave then head back to the pressure plates. Two pressure plates should be occupied by two Dream Forms. Simply step on the third plate to unlock the Common Chest!
