During the expedition, resources were limited, so the Grand Master would choose one day each month to hold a "group birthday." It was called a "birthday," but there were no presents or cake. Rather, it was more like finding an excuse to have a meal together... Sometimes we even had to forage for food on the spot.

But I really enjoyed those birthdays, because I didn't have to be the center of attention. Instead, I could share the joy of growing up as part of a group with my comrades. However, the Reconnaissance Company seems to have a completely opposite tradition. Captain Eula hopes we can all bravely showcase ourselves, which is more than a bit difficult for me...

I pulled another all-nighter... But this time, it wasn't for finishing any articles. I stayed up only to greet the morning star, because... the improved version of the celestial globe I've been looking forward to for so long is finally being released today, on my birthday! So, I'm planning to pick it up from the store early in the day. For one thing, it's safer for me to handle such a delicate instrument personally. For another, the Mora saved on shipping, combined with my previous paychecks, can go towards the deposit for a new astrolabe... And there happens to be enough left to treat you, my dear friend, to a meal.

Yesterday. I slept really well so I could save up enough energy for today, and start today's one-day adventure full of vim and vigor!

You shouldn't think it strange! I am well aware that as an Outrider, I'm quite used to detecting risks and gauging potential danger. Even if I end up in a strange land, I won't just be completely and unconditionally excited... I'm pretty confident from Klee in that respect. But after hearing her go on about her "big adventure" so much, I've decided to indulge my inner child. An entire day of carefree freedom sounds good to me!

So, I plan to travel from Springvale to Dawn Winery first, and then I'll decide whether to go to Stormterror's Lair or the Stone Gate from there based on how I'm feeling.

If I run into you on the road, I'll be happy to share some bread with you!

Today is my birthday, and in the words of the surveyor corps, I've reached another milestone in life.

Genius Invokation TCG has become quite fashionable in recent days, and many of my chess mates have become enamored. This has made it far more difficult than it once was to arrange a game of Liyue Millennial.

I have been so busy with divination recently that I lost track of time and couldn't tell if it was day or night! I almost forgot which day of the week it was. Fortunately, the Editor-in-Chief of my column "All Things Astrological" sent a letter reminding me that the deadline for my latest manuscript was just around the corner.

Truly, when it rains it pours... I fear that I no longer have time to go out and celebrate my birthday.

But no matter what, today is an important day, and at the very least I must not short-change my precious friends.

Selling it to someone who knows their flowers might fetch a good price. However, Mora is precious, but good friends are much more valuable. This flower that I personally picked is for you. I hope you will enjoy its beauty and fragrance.

Today is the birthday of The Great Astrologist Mona! This special day only comes once a year, so we should go all out and have a big celebration!

But alas... upon closer inspection of the shopping list, there are too many things to buy. If I bought it all, I wouldn't be able to pay my rent next month. Oh well, I'll just have to think about it later.

I've been looking for more ways to make a living, so I got a few volumes of Teachings of Gold... but I don't know if I didn't read them well enough or if they actually had nothing to do with earning Mora at all.
