How to Unlock Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas
You need to complete Ritou Escape Plan in Chapter 2: Act 1 and the 4th sub-quest in Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual: Tanuki-Bayashi in the Forest or previously known as Hayashi of Tanuki in the Forest!

New event quests for Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas unlock everyday of the event. If you're finished with all the current event quests, you need to wait for server reset to unlock a new one.

Eight Locales Event Guide

| 1 | Talk to Ioroi and begin the main quest. |
| 2 | Travel with Kichiboushi and do daily quests. |
| 3 | Claim event rewards after finishing the quests! |
Talk to Ioroi to Unlock the Event
Use your quest menu and click on the ''Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas'' quest to reveal to Ioroi's location in Inazuma. Go to that location in Chinju Forest and talk to Ioroi.
Ioroi will request that the Traveler give Kichiboushi a tour of Teyvat! Completing this initial quest will unlock the event and reveal the first stage in the Eight Locales event page.

Travel with Kichiboushi and Do Quests
A new stage will be unlocked everyday for the first seven days of the Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas. This means that new event quests and rewards will be unlocked daily!
Reveal Kichiboushi's Disguises
Kichiboushi will disguise itself as random items during certain parts of the quest. Finding and interacting with Kichiboushi's disguises is part of the challenge!
Take Pictures of Kichiboushi
At the end of each mini-vacation with Kichiboushi, you'll have to take a picture of it. Just interact with the glowing marker to open up your camera and take a picture! The camera is usually adjusted to the correct angle already.

Bake-Danuki Event Unlock Quest
To unlock the Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas quest and all event quests that follow, you need to complete the sub-quest of Chapter 2: Act 1 Archon Quest, Ritou Escape Plan and the sub-quest of Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, the Tanuki-Bayashi in the Forest!

| 1 | Head to Chinju Forest and talk to the king of the bake-danuki, Ioroi! |
| 2 | After speaking with Ioroi, head over to talk to Kichiboushi who is just beyond the Tori Gates! |
| 3 | Return to Ioroi. Finish the conversation to start traveling with Kichiboushi all over Teyvat. The first stop is the Snowswept Fairytale challenge in Dragonspine! |

Anonymous almost 4 yearsDoes anyone know how to active the wanderer appraisal? I’ve done all of the event days (barring the last one which is currently locked) but I don’t know how to find the wanderers appraisal bit? Will it unlock after the final day?
