How to Unlock Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas

You need to complete Ritou Escape Plan in Chapter 2: Act 1 and the 4th sub-quest in Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual: Tanuki-Bayashi in the Forest or previously known as Hayashi of Tanuki in the Forest!

Talk to Ioroi to Unlock the Event

Use your quest menu and click on the ''Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas'' quest to reveal to Ioroi's location in Inazuma. Go to that location in Chinju Forest and talk to Ioroi.

Ioroi will request that the Traveler give Kichiboushi a tour of Teyvat! Completing this initial quest will unlock the event and reveal the first stage in the Eight Locales event page.

Travel with Kichiboushi and Do Quests

A new stage will be unlocked everyday for the first seven days of the Eight Locales Over Mountains and Seas. This means that new event quests and rewards will be unlocked daily!

Reveal Kichiboushi's Disguises

Kichiboushi will disguise itself as random items during certain parts of the quest. Finding and interacting with Kichiboushi's disguises is part of the challenge!

Take Pictures of Kichiboushi

At the end of each mini-vacation with Kichiboushi, you'll have to take a picture of it. Just interact with the glowing marker to open up your camera and take a picture! The camera is usually adjusted to the correct angle already.
