Version 1.2.0 Patch Notes

Version 1.2.0 of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket) was released on March 26, 2025, which brought along new features and updates to the game. Read on to learn about Version 1.0.9 and its patch notes.

PTCGP 1.2.0 Patch Notes

Pokemon TCG Pocket highlighted the major updates for this patch. This includes the Shining Revelry booster pack now being available, the Ranked Match feature being released, and the Triumphant Light cards being added to the trading pool.

Additional Updates

In addition to the major updates, Pokemon TCG Pocket has also added a few quality of life, animation, and UI updates not listed in the official notes. Some of these updates include the following listed below.

Deck Updates

  • New "View All Cards in Deck" option added when editing a deck.
  • Deck slots are increased from 15 to 20.

Battle Updates

  • Players now flip their coins at the same time.
  • A "Cancel" button has been added to the match queue screen.
  • Tapping and holding a Pokemon card now shows the player the expected damage that it will deal.
  • The message that appears when the opponent concedes now appears in the middle of the screen instead rather than the top.

Wonder Pick Updates

  • The cards you didn't choose will now flip one by one before the chosen card is revealed.
  • Wonder Picks now have an icon that says "NEW" when the player views them for the first time.

Card Dex Updates

  • The new Shiny rarities are added to the filters.

Shop Updates

  • Hourglasses that do not refresh are now removed from the shop after the player has purchased all of them.

Patch Released on March 26, 2025

A patch for the version 1.2.0 of the game was released on March 26, 2025.

Anyone who has the previous version of the app will be asked to download the update.
