Suicune ex's Ability allows the player to draw a card at the end of the turn. This can allow Greninja to evolve quickly and do additional damage in the early game. Since Suicune ex deals low damage if the opponent's Bench isn't filled out, Greninja can act as a useful support.

Suicune ex may not have enough damage in the late game. Giratina ex may act as a finisher once it is set up being able to deal consistent, high damage.

Greninja ex is used as a secondary attacker to Suicune ex.

While Suicune ex is in the Active Spot, you will be able to draw an extra card per turn. This ability will help you fill up your bench and evolve Pokemon faster, while also powering up Suicune ex's Crystal Waltz, which increases by 20 damage for each Pokemon in the Bench on both your and your opponent's side.

Because of Suicune ex's card advantage, it is recommended to have Genetic Apex Greninja in your deck since its ability to snipe Pokemon from the Bench. You can also set up Giratina ex in the Bench, who can aid Suicune ex by taking out tankier Pokemon.

However, if Suicune ex is in danger and Giratina ex is unable to be placed in the Active Spot, Greninja ex, the highest HP Pokemon in the deck, can be switched in. Greninja ex's Ability, Shifting Stream can let you switch in Greninja ex, or any Water Pokemon, into the Active Spot without having to retreat Aqua Edge also only costs 2 Water Energy to be used, and can deal a solid 100 damage against opposing Pokemon.

Mantyke functions as the deck's Energy accelerator, helping set up its teammates faster. Suicune ex works as a great early-game attacker while Wugtrio ex can sweep in the late game.

The deck's primary attackers synergize well because of how their attacks work. Suicune ex incentivizes the opponent to keep their Bench empty, which is good for focusing Wugtrio ex's attack on one Pokemon. On the other hand, Wugtrio ex incentivizes the opponent to fill out their Bench, which then increases Suicune ex's damage.

Mantyke is used to accelerate Energy for Suicune ex in the early game. Once Suicune ex is set up, it can be used as an early-game attacker and wall.

Gyarados functions as the late-game attacker. The player can discard Benched Pokemon to increase its attacking power. It can discard Suicune ex, preventing opponents from scoring 2 points with a KO.

Gyarados ex can be a good option for a finisher if the player's Bench is not filled out. Since it has a high Attack Cost, you may accelerate its Energy with Misty.

Suicune ex Deck Strategy Guide

Accelerate Energy

Suicune ex is best used as a fast early-game attacker. Using cards that accelerate Water Energy such as Misty and Mantyke can allow Suicune ex to set up faster.

Draw Cards With Legendary Pulse

Suicune ex deals more damage if there are more Benched Pokemon in play. Its Ability, Legendary Pulse, allows the player to draw more cards if it is in the Active Spot. Use this Ability to draw more Pokemon to put in the Bench.

How to Beat Suicune ex Decks

Hand Disruption

Players who use Suicune ex decks tend to have many cards in their hand due to Legendary Pulse. This can allow them to quickly search for the cards that they need.

You may use Red Card or Mars to disrupt the opponent. These cards can reduce the number of cards in their hand, which can throw off their strategy.

Do Not Fill Up Your Bench

Suicune ex deals more damage if there are more Benched Pokemon in play. You may keep its attacking power low by not having any Benched Pokemon in play.
