Basic and Stage 1 Fighting Pokemon
Fighting decks can outspeed Alolan Muk ex, and can potentially inflict more damage to it than Alolan Muk ex can dish out. Fast and efficient Fighting-types that can attack for few Energy are sure to get an upper hand in these matchups.
It is ideal to use Basic and Stage 1 Pokemon. The opponent uses Mars and Red Card, which makes you shuffle your current hand into the deck then draw a few cards. Using Pokemon that do not require two evolutions lets you play well even with a limited hand.
Healing or Immunity from Status
Removing status with various means can help you in this matchup. These include evolving your Pokemon, using Lum Berry to remove Poison, or Pokemon Center Lady to heal your Pokemon up.
Arceus ex is also noteworthy because of Fabled Luster which gives it immunity from status conditions, limiting Clodsire ex's damage potential.

The Giratina ex and Mewtwo ex Deck may help you clear the Psychic-type Battle Task.
This deck runs similar to a 18 Trainer deck, but with an extra Pokemon instead of just two. Giratina ex has access to Energy Acceleration and can OHKO most of your opponent's Pokemon. A single copy of Mewtwo ex can help the deck score OHKOs on Alolan Muk ex with the help of Red.

You may attempt to clear the 3◇ Battle Task with the Primeape and Lucario Deck.
This deck makes use of Primeape from Mythical Island to do a steady 50 damage for only one Energy. Lucario boosts this even further by adding an additional 20 damage to it, making for a 70 damage swing if you have one Lucario.
Your damage can be boosted even further by having two Lucarios, and by using Red.
The Pokemon in the deck all have low HP and are easy to KO, making it more consistent in meeting Marshadow's Attack condition.
