This Buzzwole ex deck includes Celebi to counter Stage 2 ex decks, especially those that include Charizard ex. With Red's help, Celebi can OHKO a Stage 2 ex Pokemon if its Basic form has 60 max HP or less as the total damage the Defending Pokemon took during the match will still apply to the devolved Pokemon.

Pheromosa provides a strong early-game offensive pressure with Jump Blues spreading damage across the board. Buzzwole ex can come in later in the game after Pheromosa has been KOd.
The Grass-types in the deck benefit from cards like Erika and Leaf Cape, which have synergy with Grass-type Pokemon.
Lusamine in the late-game can help you set up Buzzwole ex quickly by attaching Energy from the Discard Pile.
Celesteela can help the deck with mobility and flexibility with Ultra Thrusters letting you switch your Ultra Beasts at will.

The Grass-types in the deck benefit from cards like Erika and Leaf Cape, which have synergy with Grass-type Pokemon.

Use early-game offensive options until Buzzwole ex is ready to attack.
Pheromosa can spread damage onto your opponent's board with Jump Blues.
Kartana is a strong early-game partner for Buzzwole ex that can deal a good 40 damage for only one Energy.

Because Buzzwole ex takes a few turns to be set up, and Kartana ex has low HP, use Trainer cards with synergy to Grass-types, such as Leaf Cape and Erika to keep your Pokemon healthy.

Buzzwole ex's Big Beat gets reset once Buzzwole ex gets benched. Use Celesteela's Ultra Thrusters to get Buzzwole ex back to the Bench, then retreat your new Active Pokemon.
This strategy is best used with partners like Pheromosa or Kartana, who only have 1 Retreat Cost.
Having two Celesteela on board can allow you to use Ultra Thrusters twice.

Fire-types have a natural advantage against Buzzwole ex and its partners. Being able to damage them for weakness can put Buzzwole ex decks at a huge disadvantage even with their defensive options.

Buzzwole Ex gets wrecked by the Sylveon Ex deck meta, Charizard Ex, Incineroar Ex, and yellow chicken. Maybe it used to be S tier but definitely not after Eevee Grove.
