Use Powerful Basic and Stage 1 Water-Types

The opponent typically uses Arceus ex as a wall while Charizard ex sets up on the Bench. You may also face Heatran, which can deal 80 damage per turn if it is not at full HP. It is recommended to attack quickly with Basic or Stage 1 Water-types.

You may use Misty to accelerate the Energy of Pokemon with high Attack Costs. It is ideal to use Pokemon that can OHKO Heatran such as Starmie ex and Palkia ex.

Heal or Increase Your HP

Charizard ex's Steam Artillery deals 150 damage. It is best to avoid getting OHKO'd by this attack.

You may increase your HP with the Giant Cape to stay out of KO range. You may also opt to heal your Pokemon.

You may attempt to clear the Grass-type Battle Task with the Exeggutor ex and Meowscarada Deck.

Exeggutor ex can exert offensive pressure in the early game by doing 40 to 80 damage for only a single Energy. Once it has dealt enough damage, switch in Meowscarada to take out exs that are in its KO range.

The Leaf Cape is vital, as can prevent your Pokemon from being OHKO'd by Steam Artillery.

You may use the Gyarados and Frosmoth Deck to clear the 3◇ and below Battle Task.

Frosmoth can put opponents to Sleep with Powder Snow, giving you enough time to set up a Gyarados on the Bench. Misty and Manaphy are also available to accelerate Energy and speed up your set up.

Use Irida to heal your Pokemon when needed, to help them stay in battle longer.
