Alolan Raichu ex's Psychic works very effectively against attackers that need a lot of Energy to be viable.
If you are facing ex Pokemon cards that need at least three Energy for their big attacks, you will likely easily defeat them as you will be able to deal 150 damage.

Before you can utilize Alolan Raichu ex, you first need to evolve it from a Pikachu. The Pikachu card used in this deck synergizes well with Cyrus, as you can attack with it and damage multiple Pokemon. You can also give Pikachu a Rocky Helmet for extra damage against attackers.
Once Alolan Raichu ex is ready, you can use Cyrus to force out damaged cards out of your opponent's Bench and into the Active Spot, making it easy to get some points.


Pachirisu and Pom-Pom Oricorio in this deck offers support to Alolan Raichu ex while you're building it up.
Pachirisu can speed up Energy gathering for Alolan Raichu ex while dealing some damage, while Pom-Pom Oricorio can be used to hinder opposing ex Pokemon while you are setting up.


Alolan Raichu ex relies on a card to gather many Energy to be effective, so one way to deal with it is to use cards that do not need a lot of Energy but can still defeat it easily.
Cards such as Rampardos and Solgaleo ex can easily withstand attacks from Alolan Raichu ex and even knock it out in a few turns.
