Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket) lacks a pity system but rewards players Pack Points for opening booster packs, which allow players to create any card for their collection! Read on to learn if Pokemon TCG Pocket has a pity system.
List of Contents
While the game has gacha-like mechanics in terms of the rarity and randomness of the kind of cards you get from your Booster Packs, Pokemon TCG Pocket does not have a Pity System that increases the chance of getting a rarer card from opening more packs.
Instead of a Pity System, Pokemon TCG has Pack Points which are earned by opening Booster Packs and allow you to create a Card to add to your collection!
Each booster pack you open rewards 10 Pack Points, which you can save or spend to create cards. Crown Rarity cards, the rarest cards in the game which have golden crown icons, can be created with 2500 Pack Points.
