This deck makes use of single-point Pokemon and aims to have advantageous point trades against Mega ex Decks.
Heliolisk is a great Pokemon for finishing off damaged Pokemon with its 120 damage Thunderbolt, while Magnezone can put them into Heliolisk's KO range while being disruptive with Mirror Shot.

Heliolisk can easily KO Lightning-weak 140 HP Pokemon like Moltres ex and Suicune ex by attacking for Weakness.
Against 140 HP Pokemon who are not weak to Lightning, Clemont's Backpack can help deal the extra 20 damage.

Magnezone from Crimson Blaze is a very disruptive Pokemon who can set itself up with Magneton's Ability. Use Mirror Shot and hope that your opponent flips tails, then bring Heliolisk in for a quick KO!

Most of the Pokemon in the deck can easily get KOd due to their low HP. Aim to knock out the deck's Pokemon before they are fully evolved to make sure Heliolisk and its partners don't gain an advantage.
