Pokeball Icon Increase your Pokemon's HP.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding if Leafeon ex sets up early.

Leafeon ex can be threatening in the early-game, being able to evolve and accelerate Energy right away. On the other hand, Mega Pinsir ex can score OHKOs with the use of Will.

You may use Fire-type Pokemon with low Attack Costs to counter them. Mega Blaziken ex and Shining Revelry Charizard ex are great to use if you can evolve them with Rare Candy early.

Flareon ex is also a good choice, but you will need to attach the Giant Cape to prevent it from getting OHKO'd.

Mega Blaziken ex & Entei ex Deck Strategy

Pokeball Icon Use a fast Water-type Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Send Mega Blaziken ex to the Bench.

Pokeball Icon KO Torchic early.

Mega Blaziken ex is a powerful card. It has great bulk, the ability to inflict Burn, and an efficient Attack Cost. Entei ex supports it by thinning out your deck with Legendary Pulse, providing more chances to draw the right Trainer and evolution cards.

You may use a fast Water-type Pokemon to KO Torchic before it evolves. Suicune ex is a good option, as it has a low Attack Cost and can deal good damage with a filled-out bench. However, be sure to equip it with the Giant Cape to avoid getting OHKO's by Mega Blaziken ex.

You may also choose to send Mega Blaziken ex to the Bench in order to KO other Pokemon. You may use Greninja's Ability to damage a Pokemon from your opponent's Bench, then draw them out with Cyrus. This will give your main attacker the opportunity to land a KO.

Pokeball Icon KO Magikarp early.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding once Mega Gyarados ex is set up.

Mega Gyarados ex has powerful offensive capabilities in addition to the ability to discard your cards. It is ideal to land KOs before it evolves.

You may use Lightning-type attackers such as Tapu Koko ex and Zeraora. If you are facing Mega Gyarados ex, you may use Pom-Pom Oricorio to nullify any damage you might take.

You can also focus on knocking out Magikarp early. You may bring it to the Active Spot with Sabrina, or use Pokemon that damage the Bench such as WSS Absol or Jirachi.

Pokeball Icon KO Eevee if it has not evolved yet.

Jolteon ex can deal damage with its Ability every time you attach Energy to one of your Pokemon. It is used as a formidable early-game threat as Pikachu ex sets up in the Bench.

You may use Energy-efficient Fighting-types to counter your opponent. Attackers such as Rampardos, Donphan ex, and Hitmonchan ex are good options. You may also have Lucario on the Bench to boost their damage.

You can make use of Sabrina and Cyrus to bring other Pokemon to the Active Spot. This will prevent Jolteon ex from damaging your Pokemon as you attach Energy.

Pokeball Icon Send Mega Altaria ex to the Bench.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding if Mega Altaria ex is set up with a full Bench.

Mega Altaria ex can deal great damage when it has a full Bench behind it. It also has access to Indeedee ex's recovery, making it difficult to KO.

You may use Metal-types to counter this deck. You may use Energy-efficient Pokemon such as Solgaleo ex and Skarmory. This is a countermeasure against Tapu Lele and Indeedee ex, who deal more damage the more Energy their opponents have attached.

You may also use Sabrina and Cyrus to bring other Pokemon to the Active Spot. This can decrease Mega Altaria ex's attacking power if you successfully land a KO, as you are decreasing the amount of Benched Pokemon.

You may use fast Psychic-types as a counter. Espeon ex is a good option, as it can evolve right away if you use Mega Rising Eevee. It also has the Ability to recover HP.

Mega Altaria ex is also a good option, as it has great bulk and the capability to do a lot of damage with a full Bench. You may use healing cards such as Pokemon Center Lady or Indeedee ex to keep it out of KO range.

Pokeball Icon Disrupt the opponent's hand.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding if the opponent starts with Mega Absol ex.

Mega Absol ex is a great threat in the early game, as it can deal relatively high damage in the earlier turns. Watch out for Hydreigon as well, as it can accelerate its own Energy and deal 130 damage.

You may use fast Grass-types to counter this deck. Meowscarada can be good to counter Mega Absol ex, as it deals additional damage against ex Pokemon. For Hydreigon, you may use Decidueye ex. If it has damaged itself with Roar in Unison, you can pull it to the Active Spot with Cyrus and boost Decidueye ex's damage with Hau, or immediately damage it with Pierce the Pain.

You can also prevent vital cards from being drawn by your opponent. Cards such as Red Card, Mars, and Iono shuffles the opponent's hand into their deck, possibly disrupting their strategy.

Lugia ex has a very strong attack in Elemental Blast, but it's major downside is that it requires three different types of Energy which need to be replenished after every use. Ho-oh ex provides all three of these Energy types with its attack.

To prevent Lugia ex from setting up, it's recommended to get rid of Ho-oh ex as soon as possible using Lightning-type Pokemon that are easy to set up such as Pom-Pom Style Oricorio. You may also use Repel to prevent your opponent from attacking after setting up.

Milotic can heal one of its allies once it evolves. Suicune ex makes it easier to search for with Legendary Pulse, which gives this deck good survivability.

You can KO Feebas early to prevent it from evolving. You may do this by drawing it out to the Active Spot using Sabrina or Cyrus.

You may also use Pokemon that can OHKO your opponents. Shining Revelry Pikachu ex is a good option for a finisher. Cards such as Pichu, Elemental Switch, and Electrical Cord can accelerate its Energy, helping it set up faster.

It is best to use powerful Fighting-type Pokemon such as Rampardos for the Type advantage. It may also be good to discard the opponent's Electrical Cord with Guzma. This will prevent Pikachu ex from using it as a means to accelerate Energy.

Pokeball Icon Pull Latios back to the Active Spot if it retreats.

You may use fast and Energy-efficient Darkness-type Pokemon. Weavile ex is a good choice, as it can deal 90 damage per hit against a damaged Pokemon with a Type disadvantage. It synergizes well with Darkrai ex and Rocky Helmet, which provide good additional damage.

You may prioritize knocking Ralts or Kirlia out to prevent Gardevoir from accelerating Energy. You may also bring Supporters such as Sabrina and Cyrus since Latios may retreat to the Bench to keep itself from being knocked out.

Both Shuckle ex and Venusaur ex are very bulky Pokemon, with their relatively high HP and Shuckle's Solid Shell Ability. This deck also provides multiple options for healing, so it may be difficult to get through these Pokemon.

It is recommended to use a Fire-type deck with strong Pokemon capable of knocking out Shuckle ex in one hit such as Charizard ex or Flareon ex. It's also a good idea to get rid of Bulbasaur and Ivysaur before they can evolve into Venusaur ex.

Kingdra ex is difficult to face once it is set up, especially with its Stormy Prison which prevents the Active Pokemon from retreating. It is best to KO it as soon as possible with fast, low-cost Lightning-type Pokemon.

It is best to target Horsea before it can evolve. However, if you do end up facing Kingdra ex, you can opt to use Oricorio to nullify its attacks.

Espeon ex & Sylveon ex Deck Strategy

Pokeball Icon Use Darkness-type Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Use fast and Energy-efficient Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding once Espeon ex is set up.

The Espeon ex and Sylveon ex deck is a very fast deck. By the second turn, it is possible for your opponent to have Sylveon ex, Espeon ex, and Espeon already at play if they have a good hand. Ideally, you want to target Espeon ex first to prevent it from using its healing ability, so preferrably use Pokemon that can OHKO Espeon ex.

However, with Espeon on the board, you should also consider bringing Pokemon that have low attack costs, since Espeon's damage scales based on the amount of energy attached to the Pokemon on the opponent's side. We recommend Pokemon like Donphan ex or Weavile ex who can deal significant damage while requiring only little energy.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding once both Donphan ex and Lucario are set up.

Donphan ex is a very fast card to set up. It can already start attacking at one energy, and will become only more dangerous the longer you allow it to stay on the board.

Ideally, the best cards to counter Donphan ex would be Grass Cards that have low attack costs. You should also use cards such as Team Rocket Grunt, or Beedrill ex to remove its Energy and prevent it from dealing more damage.

The Pokemon in this deck all have a weakness against Grass-type Pokemon. If you use Grass-type Pokemon that are easy to evolve and can attack almost immediately, you can quickly get the advantage in the game.

A good counter card would be Decidueye ex, who can be set up quickly with Rare Candy and snipe down injured Pokemon in the Bench.

Make sure to use evolved Pokemon to prevent being affected by Umbreon's Dark Binding, and keep your Pokemon healed so you don't get dragged to the Active Spot by Umbreon ex's Dark Chase.

Buzzwole ex Deck Strategy

Pokeball Icon Use Fire-type Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Prioritize knocking out Pheromosa and Kartana.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding when the Leaf Cape is used.

It is ideal to use fast Fire-types such as Rapidash and Ninetales for the Type advantage. With Blaine's support, Ninetales is able to OHKO every Pokemon in the opponent's deck.

The Leaf Cape can be used to increase the HP of the opposing Pokemon, putting them above OHKO range. You may consider conceding if the Leaf Cape is put into play. Alternatively, you can use Guzma to remove it.

Pokeball Icon Use Psychic-type Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Prioritize knocking out Riolu and Rockruff.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding if the opponent evolves Lycanroc ex and Lucario early.

This deck's strategy is to use Passimian ex as an early game attacker that can transfer its Energy to Lycanroc ex once it is knocked out. Lucario acts as support, raising its teammates' damage.

You may disrupt this by targetting Rockruff and Riolu. You can use a Pokemon such as Hitmonlee or Pheromosa to attack them while they are Benched. Alternatively, you may draw them out into the Active Spot with Sabrina or Cyrus.

Pokeball Icon Use Fire-type Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Defeat Rowlet before it can evolve.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding once Decidueye ex is set up.

Decidueye ex and Lurantis both have very high HP and are aggressive cards with a low attack cost, so it is better to defeat them before they are evolved.

Use Fire-type Decks to get a type advantage bonus in your attacks. With the help of Rare Candy, you can skip Stage 1 and get your Pokemon to attack sooner. You can also use Sabrina or Cyrus to put weaker Benched Pokemon into the Active Spot.

However, keep in mind that the Decidueye and Lurantis Deck has access to Leaf Cape which can increase the HP of Grass Pokemon by 30 at any time. Watch out for Erika as well for healing.

Unlike other Water-type Pokemon, Crabominable ex is weak against Metal Types.

Once Primarina is built, it can heal Crabominable ex's HP by 30 each turn, so use Metal-type Pokemon that are quick to build so that you can attack them while they are still in their basic evolutions.

Beware of the Giant Cape in the opponent's deck, which can be used to further increase Crabominable ex's bulk.

Pokeball Icon Consider conceding once Alolan Raichu ex is set up.

This deck's strategy is to use Pachirisu to generate extra energy for Oricorio and Alolan Raichu ex, so you want to aim for Pachirisu first to cut off their extra energy supply.

Since all Pokemon in this deck have the same weakness, use Fast Fighting-Type Pokemon to counter Alolan Raichu ex. Oricorio has an ability that negates all damage from ex Pokemon, so bring a mix of 3◇ and ex Pokemon.

Pokeball Icon Use Lightning-type Pokemon to KO Moltres early.

Pokeball Icon Draw Benched Pokemon out with Sabrina.

Pokeball Icon Score KOs before Moltres accelerates Energy.

Moltres ex accelerates Energy for Arcanine ex and Volcarona to use their powerful attacks as soon as possible. You may prevent this by knocking out Moltres ex before it can accelerate a lot of Energy. You can use Energy-efficient Lightning-types to counter Moltres ex.

Alternatively, you may draw the Benched Pokemon out with Sabrina or Cyrus before they are set up properly. You may use Water-types to counter them with a Type advantage.

Magneton can generate Energy for Lt. Surge to transfer to Raichu. Both Zapdos ex and Raichu can deal devastating amounts of damage after they are set up, so it is best to knock them out quickly. This deck features a variety of powerful Fire-type Pokemon, aiming to accelerate Energy using Moltres ex to stack energy on Arcanine ex and Charizard ex. Using Starmie ex to quickly deal with the Fire-types early on is a good counter, or using Articuno ex to deal damage to the opponent's Bench can help you win more easily.

Other Water-types can also be used to clear this Solo Battle, and Water-types like Lapras or Greninja should also perform well against this deck!

Pokeball Icon Use Lightning-Type Pokemon

Heliolisk's attack costs 2 energy, and can deal 60 danage consistently against water types, and 100 damage if you get lucky with the coin flip. This should be enough to take out most of the Pokemon in this deck, and having Pikachu ex on your deck allows you to also make use of Pikachu's quick and high damage output by benching Lightning-types!

Other Lightning-types are also viable, but Articuno ex can pose a threat to your Pokemon, especially if you have mostly Basic Lightning-types like Pincurchin and Electabuzz.

Muk and Weezing's synergy should be enough to stand up against Mewtwo ex. Try to set up a combo of Gas Leak and Venoshock to quickly knock out Mewtwo ex, and scoring the last point should be much easier.

Other Dark types can be used against this deck effectively, just keep in mind that Dark-types like Nidoking and Nidoqueen require time to set up, and lots of energy to attack, allowing Mewtwo ex and Gardevoir to set up if left unchecked.
