Articuno ex's partner for this deck is Glaceon ex, which relies on incremental damage from Snowy Terrain to whittle down your opponent's HP. This works similar to Poison, which does 10 damage in between turns.
Manaphy is present to accelerate Energy to both Articuno ex and Glaeon ex, and even Eevee if it hasn't evolved yet.

Kingler is this deck's main focus, with Articuno ex added in for extra consistency.
Kingler's KO Crab is heavily reliant on luck, and is unlikely to be consistent. However, this deck offers fun and unique lines of play that other, more competitive decks may not have. Consider trying this fun deck in Random Matches.

Misty on turn 1 can swing games heavily in your favor by giving you a huge momentum swing on lucky heads flips. Using Blizzard early can win you the game if your opponents can't find a suitable answer.
Manaphy is a more consistent Energy accelerator that does not require a coin flip. However, it has a low 50 HP, making it easy to pick off by Pokemon like Skarmory or Carnivine.

The newest sets always have new Trainer cards for Articuno ex to use. Cyrus is immediately usable after a successful Blizzard. Mars can stop your opponent's momentum cold after one of you Articuno ex has gotten knocked out. Guzma can remove your opponent's Pokemon Tools. While Irida can help keep Articuno ex by healing 40 damage from it.

Decks that can easily take out chunks of HP on our Articuno ex are difficult to go up against. Because Ice Wing and Blizzard take multiple Energy to use, Articuno ex may fall behind on momentum without lucky Misty flips.

Articuno ex decks, like other Misty decks, run the chance of flipping poorly on Misty turns. While lucky heads flips can often mean a large momentum swing in our favor, an unlucky tails flip means an unproductive supporter was used for our turn.
While we do play Misty, it is important to be mindful of our Energy attachments and aim to have productive turns.

I don't understand the utility of the fossil in this deck. It can't be sent as basic pokemon at the start and it gives one point if knocked while a great advantage of this deck is the fact that the opponents has to score 4 points everytime knocking 2 articunos. To me the fossil seems useless

Aint no way this is considered a high tier deck. The odds of pulling a successful Misty turn 1-2 aren't in your favor, and without that this is a weak strategy. Fun gimmick, frustrating to lose against, but you're going to be losing more than you'll be winning with this. Realistically this could maybe hang with D tier, there is still some positioning potential with fossils to buy you time to use blizzard.
