This deck pairs Celebi with Meowscarada to counter decks with Stage 2 Pokemon as well as decks with ex Pokemon. Celebi can take on decks like Shining Revelry Charizard ex and Mega Gyarados ex while Meowscarada can deal with any deck that includes Dark-types.
The deck also includes Pheromosa as a means to whittle down your opponent's health, and put them in Celebi and Meowscarada's KO range.
Klefki is included as a way of removing Giant Cape, and ensuring KOs when Celebi devolves high-HP Pokemon.

This Buzzwole ex deck includes Celebi to counter Stage 2 ex decks, especially those that include Charizard ex. With Red's help, Celebi can OHKO a Stage 2 ex Pokemon if its Basic form has 60 max HP or less as the total damage the Defending Pokemon took during the match will still apply to the devolved Pokemon.

Celebi is the bane of evolved Pokemon, especially Stage 2s, as the HP lost by the evolved Pokemon will still be applied to the devolved Pokemon. This rule makes it possible to knock out the Defending Pokemon right after devolving it if its max HP is lower than the total damage it has taken.
Temporal Leaves becomes much more dangerous against Stage 2 ex Pokemon as it can be boosted by Red to OHKO the opponent if its Basic form has 60 HP or less.
If your opponent's deck uses Stage 2 Pokemon and evolves them only through Rare Candy instead of using Stage 1s, Temporal Leaves can lock their Pokemon as Basics once they use up both Rare Candies.

You can send in Meowscarada against Basic ex attackers like Giratina ex as Celebi won't have an advantage over them. Pair its Fighting Claws with Red if the Defending ex Pokemon has more than 130 HP.

Celebi can be OHKO'd by any Fire attack that deals at least 50 damage, so bringing a low-cost Fire Pokemon can keep your evolved Pokemon safe from its Temporal Leaves.

Since Celebi can bully evolved Pokemon, you can opt to use Basics to not worry about Temporal Leaves' effect.
Against Celebi decks that include Meowscarada, Basic non-ex Pokemon like Miltank are effective choices.
