Mythical Island Card List (A1a)
Item cards are Trainer cards that have various effects when used in battle. These may range from healing Pokemon or accessing the deck.
Certain cards, like Helix Fossil and Dome Fossil, are categorized as Item cards but are played like Pokemon cards. This is because these cards act as the Basic card for fossil Pokemon, and need to be played in the field before you can use the actual Pokemon.
Item cards have no restriction of how many cards you can use per turn. If you have several item cards in your hand, you can all use them in a single turn.
In comparison, you can only play one Supporter card per turn, which is another type of Trainer card.
Item cards mostly feature items that are found in mainline Pokemon games. Most Item cards usually have the same or similar effect to the ones in the games.
