Best Cards for Damaging Your Opponent's Bench
Greninja
Greninja can snipe any of your opponent's Pokemon for 20 damage, including their Active Pokemon or Benched Pokemon using its Water Shuriken Ability. This helps with getting decisive KOs on high-HP Pokemon
Hitmonlee
Hitmonlee is always a strong inclusion to any Fighting deck, which allows you to snipe a Benched Pokemon for only one Fighting Energy. It also has a decent enough 80 HP which gives it respectable survivability.
Garchomp ex
Garchomp ex is made even more explosive with Rare Candy, which allows it to snipe for 50 as early as turn 2.
Do note that Garchomp ex's Linear Attack is not limited to Benched Pokemon, and can also damage your opponent's Active Pokemon.
Do You Apply Weakness for Bench Damage?
You Do Not Apply Weakness for Bench Damage
When damaging Benched Pokemon you do not apply Weakness.
Weakness is applied only to Active Pokemon.
For example, Zebstrika will not be able to KO a Benched Staryu with Thunder Spear, but only deal 30 to it.
