Pokemon TGC Pocket - CB Ditto Best Deck Build and How to Play

This guide will show you how to build some of the strongest CB Ditto Decks. We'll cover the best CB Ditto Deck builds, how to use them, as well how to beat Ditto Decks, and more!

Best CB Ditto Decks

CB Ditto Deck Variants Strengths and Weaknesses
CB Ditto and Rampardos Deck Icon CB Ditto and Rampardos Deck Strengths:
• Rampardos can OHKO Pokemon for a low energy cost.
• Ditto can copy Rampardos' move, allowing it to also deal high damage for low cost.
Weaknesses:
• Rampardos hurts itself if it KOs a Pokemon.
• Ditto will be left with 10 HP if it KOs a Pokemon using Rampardos' move.

Rampardos' Head Smash can easily OHKO enemies with only one Energy, making it a highly cost-effective card. However, this comes with the drawback that if the opponent's Pokemon gets knocked out, Rampardos takes 50 damage.

With Ditto, you can duplicate Rampardos moves. However, because of the effect, this will leave Ditto with 10 HP. If Ditto gets KO'd, you can use Marshadow to go for a revenge KO.

CB Ditto Deck Strategy Guide

Use Ditto to Copy Moves

Ditto serves as an back-up attacker that you can put in the Active Spot if your main attacker is too damaged and needs to retreat. You can have Ditto copy your main attacker's Attack and attack in its place, given that the attacker is a non-ex Pokemon.

Pair With Non-ex Attackers

Because of Ditto's low HP, it is very likely to be knocked out the following turn after attacking. This sets you up for a good counter attack if you have Pokemon like Marshadow in your Bench who gets a damage boost after one of your Pokemon gets knocked out.

How to Beat CB Ditto Decks

Target Ditto With OHKO Moves

The downside to a Ditto Deck is that Ditto has very low HP. If Ditto is in the Active Spot, it can easily be knocked out by most Pokemon in the mid to late game.

Force Ditto Out With Supporter Cards

If Ditto is on the Bench, you can force it out using Supporter cards like Sabrina or Cyrus.
