A common theme for Psychic Type Cards is that they like to disrupt your opponent's set-up by either putting them to sleep with Hypno or using Jynx or Alakazam's Psychic to deal extra damage the more Energy the opponent has.
While Sabrina doesn't have any explicit buffs to give Psychic Pokemon, she does play into the disruption gimmick a lot of Psychic Cards do.
Psychic Type Cards are usually weak to Darkness Type Cards, since they don't mind being switched around and have pretty cheap Energy costs for their attacks.
Psychic Type Pokemon are the best counters to Fighting type decks since they like to build their boards and any disruption could easily ruin their strategy.
