How to Get Trade Tokens
Trade Tokens were a currency used in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket) to trade Pokemon Cards. They have since been phased out in favor of Shinedust.

Shinedust Replaces Trade Tokens

Trade Tokens are now replaced with Shinedust as trading currency as announced by the Pokemon TCG Pocket Development Team.

Trade Tokens, which were previously required to trade cards of 3◇, 4◇, and 1☆ rarity, will not be used for trading anymore. Players no longer need to exchange copies of their cards in order to obtain them.

This currency is replaced by Shinedust, which players can exchange Trade Tokens in the shop. Since Shinedust is required to obtain Flairs, they may plan on increasing the amount offered in the future.

Players are able to exchange the remaining Trade Tokens that they have for Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust at the Shop.

Trade Tokens Previously Used To Trade Higher Rarity Cards

Trade Tokens Required

Alongside Trade Stamina, Trade Tokens were used to trade higher rarity cards in the Social Hub.

You would not only need Trade Tokens to trade 3◇ cards or higher but also both players need to have the equivalent tokens to make the exchange.

It costed 125 Trade Tokens to trade 3◇ cards, 500 Trade Tokens to trade 4◇ or ex cards, and 400 Trade Tokens to trade 1☆ cards. You cannot trade cards that are 2☆ or higher.
