Mega Gardevoir ex and Mimikyu ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Very difficult to KO thanks to access to healing cards like Diantha and Indeedee ex. • Mimikyu ex's Disguise protects it from damage for a turn, and can buy time for Mega Gardevoir ex to prepare its attack. Weaknesses: • May lack the damage output to OHKO some Pokemon. |

Mega Gardevoir ex's partner in this deck is Mimikyu ex, who's able to always stay on the field for multiple turns thanks to its Disguise Ability.
Indeedee is a reliable single-point attacker that Mega Gardevoir ex can easily load up with Energy, making its restrictive Attack Cost not restrictive at all.

![]() ![]() ・Kirlia can be slotted in the deck instead of Mars to increase the deck's consistency in setting up. Cut Mars if you value consistency over disruption. |

Mimikyu ex's strength lies on its ability to block an instance of damage to buy enough time for a Benched attacker to prepare. Its Disguise Ability will completely negate even Mega Charizard Y ex's Crimson Dive.
|
・Only Attacks (those that take up a turn) can trigger Disguise. ・Attacks that deal damage to Benched Pokemon can also trigger Disguise. ・Status effects, like Burn and Poison, will not trigger Disguise. ・Abilities that deal damage, like Greninja's Water Shuriken, will not trigger Disguise. ・Retreating will not refresh Disguise. Its Ability can only be refreshed by putting Mimikyu ex back to your hand from the field (which is currently not possible) or by using Celestic Town Elder to retrieve it from the discard pile. |

Setting up a Peculiar Plaza makes it easier for Mimikyu ex to escape and switch with your main attacker. You can also switch in another Mimikyu ex with an unused Disguise to block one more attack from your opponent.

Mimikyu ex's Disguise will block the first attack it receives regardless of how high or low its damage is. Try to disable this Ability ASAP with a low-cost attack to prevent it from blocking your strongest one.
