This Expert Solo Battle guide is for the Alolan Dugtrio ex and Skarmory Deck from the Extradimensional Crisis expansion. Read on to learn about how to defeat it, counter decks, how to beat the battle tasks, and rewards.

Use Fast and Energy-Efficient Fire-Types
Since all the Pokemon in the Alolan Dugtrio ex deck have low attack costs, it is highly recommended to use Pokemon that can be quickly set up and attack immediately. Majority of the Pokemon are weak to Fire-types, so take advantage of the Type weakness.
Ninetales and Rapidash are good options, as they only need two Energies to deal good damage. You can also opt to boost their damage with Blaine.
KO Alolan Diglett
You may opt to KO Alolan Diglett before it can evolve. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out to the Active Spot, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.
Consider Bringing Guzma to Discard Tools
Skarmory is difficult to go up against in the early game since it can deals bonus damage if it is attached with a Pokemon Tool.
There are 2 Giant Capes and 2 Rocky Helmets in the opponent's deck, so you should consider bringing Guzma to discard Pokemon Tools and get rid of your opponent's early game advantage.

To clear the Water-type Battle Task, you may use the Palkia ex and Articuno ex Deck.
Both Palkia ex and Articuno ex have low-Energy attack options, allowing them to attack during the early game. However, they may be able to use their stronger moves early with Misty's Energy Acceleration.
You may also start with Manaphy, which also accelerates the Energy of your Benched Pokemon. If Palkia ex has enough Energy before switching in, it may be able to use Dimensional Storm for two turns in a row.

You may use the Ninetales and Blaine Deck to clear the 3◇ and below Battle Task. This deck gives you access to fast and Energy-efficient Fire-types.
Rapidash functions as the early game attacker of the deck, putting Pokemon in KO range for Ninetales. With the assistance of Blaine, Ninetales can deal up to 120 damage upon being switched in.
