This Expert Solo Battle guide is for the Darkrai ex and Weavile ex Deck from the Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Read on to learn about how to defeat it, counter decks, how to beat the battle tasks, and rewards.

How to Beat Darkrai ex and Weavile ex Expert Solo Battle

Use Fast Grass Types
Weavile ex can set up and deal devastating damage quickly. To counter it, you may use Energy-efficient Grass-types to KO Weavile ex or Sneasel immediately.
Exeggutor ex is ideal, as it can attack with one Energy and can survive two hits from Weavile ex. It can also KO Weavile ex in two turns if it gets lucky flips.
KO Darkrai ex and Weavile ex Before They Set Up
When Weavile ex and Darkrai ex are both set up, they are able to deal 90 damage per turn. It is preferable to damage them quickly before they start landing KOs.
Darkrai ex often functions as support, being placed in the Bench as Weavile ex attacks. You may use Sabrina or Cyrus to draw it from the Bench into the Active Spot. You may also use cards that target Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.
Accelerate Energy
If you plan on using Pokemon with higher Attack Costs, it is best to use cards that accelerate Energy. This allows you to use stronger moves while still being able to attack as soon as possible.

This deck provides Basic Psychic-type attackers that have low Attack Cost move options. It can be used to clear the Psychic-type Battle Task.
Mew ex can be used as an early-game attacker, while setting up Mewtwo ex for a late-game sweep.

To complete the 3◇ Battle Task, you may use the Meowscarada and Snorlax Deck, which can counter ex Pokemon effectively.
Snorlax can be used as wall due to its high HP while setting up a Meowscarada in the Bench. However, Barry can reduce the cost of Snorlax's Attack by 2, making it an effective single-point damage dealer if needed.
Once Meowscarada is fully set up, you can switch it in to defeat Weavile ex and Darkrai ex.
