The Espeon ex and Sylveon ex deck is a very fast deck. By the second turn, it is possible for your opponent to have Sylveon ex, Espeon ex, and Espeon already at play if they have a good hand.
To counter, we recommend using Dark type Pokemon that are quick to build and can catch up with the pace of the game.
Best Darkness Type Deck and Cards List

Cards like Solgaleo ex and Shining Revelry Charizard ex that can deal OHKOs are good counters to Espeon ex and will prevent it from using its healing ability.
However, when using these cards, beware of Espeon who benefits from Energy-intensive attackers.

Espeon's attack multiplies by 20 for every energy on the opponent's side. To counter, you would want to use Pokemon that use as little energy as possible while still able to deal a proportional amount of damage like Weavile ex and Donphan ex.

Donphan ex is a Fighting type Pokemon that is quick to build and can inflict a lot of damage even with only little energy.
Donphan ex is a Stage 1 Pokemon, so it will only take 1 turn to evolve. It can deal 50 damage with only one energy, but with 2 extra energy, it will deal 60 more damage. This means that by the third turn, you will be dealing 110 damage.
With the aid of 2 Lucario cards, Donphan ex has the potential to deal at least 150 damage, which can easily KO all the Pokemon in the deck.

Weezing and Koga make an appearance in this deck. Both cards synergize with each other with Weezing inflicting Poison, and Koga getting it out of the Active Spot. Toxicroak can also inflict Poison with Toxic, which also stacks with Nihilego's More Poison, dealing as much as 30 damage during Pokemon Checkup.
Absol deals extra damage to your opponent's Active Pokemon if it has a Status Condition, which shouldn't be hard to inflict with all the deck's options.
This deck runs Poison Barb, which enables the deck's Poison-centric strategies.
