Dialga ex and Melmetal have high bulk and can deal great damage. You may use Fire-type Pokemon with low Attack Costs to defeat your opponents before they can accelerate Energy.
Ninetales and Rapidash are good options, as they only need two Energies to deal good damage. You can also opt to boost their damage with Blaine.

Dialga ex relies on using Metallic Turbo to accelerate Energy for itself and Melmetal. You may draw Pokemon with no Energy out to the Active Spot with Sabrina or Cyrus to prevent this. Doing this may also allow you to damage or even KO Pokemon that cannot use their moves.

If Beedrill ex is immediately set up, it may be able to prevent Dialga ex from using Metallic Turbo with Crushing Spear's effect. You may also opt to counter Dialga ex's Energy acceleration with Team Rocket Grunt.

This deck provides Fire-types that can deal high damage, allowing you to clear the 150 damage Battle Task.
This deck list follows a more standard Fire-type Deck build with Moltres ex as your ideal starter. Iono allows you to reshuffle your hand for a chance to evolve your Pokemon faster. Team Rocket Grunt acts as a counter to your opponent's Energy acceleration.
You also have the option between two Charizard exs, with one from Shining Revelry, and the other from Genetic Apex, both of which have their own strengths and limitations. However, they both allow you to OHKO Dialga ex and Melmetal after they are properly set up.

To complete the 3◇ Battle Task, you may use the quick and Energy-efficient Ninetales and Blaine Deck.
Rapidash functions as the early game attacker of the deck, putting Pokemon in KO range for Ninetales. With the assistance of Blaine, Ninetales can deal up to 120 damage upon being switched in.
With lucky flips, Rapidash may be able to deal 150 damage with a Type advantage and Blaine's assistance. This not only allows you to clear another Battle Task, but also scores you a KO against Dialga ex.
