Dragonite ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Dragonite ex can do a huge 180 damage with Giga Impact at the cost of not being able to Attack the following turn. • Has access to Retreat options and Fossils which you can discard to allow Dragonite ex to use Giga Impact consecutively. Weaknesses: • Reliant mainly on Dragonite ex for damage, which will get easily walled by Pom-Pom Oricorio. |
Dragonite and Giratina ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• Dragonite's devastating Draco Meteor can win games. • Not reliant on just Dragonite, with Giratina ex available as a secondary attacker that can set itself up with Energy. Weaknesses: • Makes use of Stage 2 Pokemon, which may require multiple turns to set up. • Dragonite's Draco Meteor requires four Energy to use. • Needs multiple turns to set up all attackers in the deck. |
Dragonite and Pom-Pom Oricorio Deck
[★ New ★] |
Strengths:
• Dragonite's devastating Draco Meteor can win games. • You can stall out with Pom-Pom Oricorio if your opponent only has Pokemon ex's on their board. • Pompom Oricorio only needs one Lightning energy making the deck more reliable than most Multitype decks. Weaknesses: • Makes use of Stage 2 Pokemon, which may require multiple turns to set up. • Dragonite's Draco Meteor requires four Energy to use. |

This is a straightforward Dragonite ex build that makes use of Pom-Pom Oricorio and Zeraora.
Pom-Pom Oricorio can work as a win condition against decks with no options against it, such as unprepared Solgaleo ex and Shiinotic decks. Zeraora can accelerate Energy onto itself on the first turn, which you can possibly transfer to Dragonite ex with Dawn on a later turn.
This deck makes use of Leaf and Fossils to allow Dragonite ex to attack consecutively. It also has non-ex Dragonite to counter other Pom-Pom Oricorio.

Giratina ex is played alongside Dragonite and Druddigon as a secondary attacker that can set itself up with Energy without the need of using up your attachment for the turn.
This Dragonite deck makes use of a copy of Giratina ex as a backup attacker, removing the deck's sole reliance on Dragonite for damage. A late-game Chaotic Impact can either take a meaningful KO, or put an ex Pokemon into range of a Draco Meteor KO.

The appeal of a Dragonite deck with Pom-Pom Oricorio is to counter decks that are made up of only ex cards. If you are fighting with non-ex cards, use Poison Barb and Druddigon to slowly inflict damage on them while tanking, and have your Dragonite slowly build itself on Bench.

This is the tried and tested Dragonite list from Genetic Apex but with newer cards added on. Irida can give your Pokemon valuable HP recovery. Iono can help with consistency, finding you necessary evolution cards.
Its gameplan remains the same, with Dratini setting up and sitting behind an active Druddigon.

Dragonite is paired with Aerodactyl in this deck as an alternate win condition. Aerodactyl can shuffle your opponent's Active Pokemon back into their deck on a lucky coin flip, which can eliminate their most important Pokemon.
Kangaskhan is used instead of Druddigon so that you may be able to deal up to 60 damage with Dizzy Punch.
While less consistent, and more difficult to retreat, this variant can give you fun new lines of play that differ from other Dragonite variants.

![]() Druddigon (A1a 056) |
![]() ![]() • Druddigon is a less passive wall compared to Kangaskhan, but does not require you to commit an Energy attachment to it. It is also easier to Retreat. |

Druddigon is the best starter for this deck as it can deal passive damage with its Rough Skin Ability. Keep Druddigon active for as long as you need until Dratini is set up into Dragonite

Dragonite can win the game in one swing using its powerful Draco Meteor Attack. Focus on keeping Dratini and Dragonair safe until it has four Energy on it.

Use Pokemon like Hitmonlee and use Stretch Kick to damage a benched Dratini. Even if you're unable to KO it, damaging Dratini can be valuable in this matchup as it makes Dragonite easier to KO.
You can also use Sabrina to switch Druddigon out of the Active Spot. This is best used if your opponent does not have a second Druddigon on their Bench.

Decks that can easily take out our Druddigont to go up against. Dragonite Decks typically shine against slower decks because of its rewarding late-game payoff. This means it may struggle against quicker and more aggressive decks.
Best Weavile ex Decks and Card List

Game8 just can't make dragon type decks I think. "Dragon energy type" yeah no that's not how the game works.

I've had good luck playing a Dragonite Hypno deck, it can be inconsistent due to hypno and maybe I haven't worked my way up high enough in the ranks but it's certainly been fun and preforms well against some other meta decks. I run Drowsee, Hypno, Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite, X speed, PokeBall, Professor Oak, Rare Candy, and Iono. 2 of each and I use Drowzee and Hypno to sack while charging Dragonite and coin flipping to put their pokemon to sleep. Thoughts on improvement?
