This is a guide for Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket), which ran from December 9 to December 16. Read on for more details about this event and learn all of the obtainable Emblems and mission rewards!
Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 Guide
December 9 ~ December 16, 2024
The Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 has ended! It ran from December 9 to December 16, 2024 at 0:59 AM EST.
During this event, you could battle other players in PvP battles and earn various rewards, including unique Emblems.
Win Consecutive Matches to Get Emblems
During this Emblem Event, you can get Genetic Apex SP Emblems by getting consecutive wins against other players. You can participate in these matches by choosing the ’Event Match’ in the battle menu.
You need to get the total number of win streaks required to get the respective Emblem before the event ends.
Complete Event Missions
Similar with other events, there are also missions available during the event where you can obtain Shinedust and Pack Hourglasses.

If you want to obtain all available Emblems during this event, you need to win a lot of PvP matches. The best way to do so it to use decks that currently dominate the metagame, namely Pikachu ex, Starmie ex and Articuno ex, and Mewtwo ex and Gardevoir.
You can also use Articuno ex, which is a specialized deck that aims for quick battles.

Pikachu ex is quick and easy to set up. All the Pokemon in the deck are similar, with inexpensive Attack and retreat costs. This deck is always a good pick as it is consistent and efficient and matches up favorably against top Water decks.

This deck is able to set up attackers efficiently and with minimal effort. Although it sometimes relies on luck when it comes to playing Misty, it is not too heavily dependent on it and can function without it.
Starmie ex and Golduck pack a solid one-two and can 2HKO most Pokemon, while Articuno ex can also be a menace by itself once set up.

PvP Events
Emblem events in Pokemon TCG Pocket are PvP events which feature various missions and rewards.
These events will require players to win matches, and either aim to get a number of victories or build a streak of wins.
To participate in Emblem Events, nagivate to the battle menu and choose ’Event Match’.
Earn Emblems
Unique Emblems can be obtained during Emblem Events, which can be displayed in your player profile.
To obtain these Emblems, you must battle against other players and win matches to progress through the event.
