| Rampardos Deck Variants | Strengths and Weaknesses |
|---|---|
Hitmonchan ex and Rampardos Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Quick and efficient Quick Straight Attack, and an inexpensive 1 Retreat Cost. • Can immediately apply offensive pressure, especially against low HP Pokemon. • Rampardos is a strong and Energy-efficient attacker. Weaknesses: • Cannot hit for Weakness. • Can only do 50 damage without damage modifiers. • Rampardos is a Fossil Pokemon that is difficult to set up. |
Silvally and Rampardos Deck
|
Strengths:
• Type: Null is guaranteed to be your first Basic Pokemon. • Several cards in the deck can help you quickly evolve Type:Null and the Skull Fossil to their fully evolved forms. • This deck does not require a lot of Energy. Weaknesses: • Silvally relies on using Supporter cards in order to do a lot of damage. • The Skull Fossil relies on the Rare Candy item in order to evolve into Rampardos, since this deck does not have Cranidos. |
Poliwrath ex and Rampardos Deck
|
Strengths:
• Mantyke can speed up Poliwrath's setup with its Splashy Toss. • Rampardos is a good option for a main attacker if you do not start with Mantyke. Weaknesses: • Both main attackers in the deck are Stage 2 Pokemon. • Poliwrath requires two different types of Energy to deal 140 damage with Hydro Knuckle. |
Donphan ex and Rampardos Deck
|
Strengths:
• All Pokemon in the deck are Energy-efficient. • Donphan ex can have access to a high-damage Flail by using Memory Light. Weaknesses: • Donphan ex relies on other cards and being damaged to increase its attacking power. • No reliable way to search for your Fossils besides drawing into them. |

Hitmonchan ex is played with Rampardos, being a non-ex attacker that can deal significant damage.
This list makes use of a sole Hitmonchan ex and 2 Iono and a copy of May to increase your odds of finding Fossils, Rare Candy, and evolutions.

Type: Null is guaranteed to be your Basic Pokemon upon starting a match, since it's the only Basic Pokemon in this deck. You should be able to evolve it quickly with the help of Gladion and Professor's Research.
Once you have Silvally on hand, it's recommended to use Supporter cards every turn in order to boost your attack's damage to 100.
Silvally isn't your only source of damage on this deck, though. Rampardos allows you to have a bulkier Pokemon in your deck that can do a lot of damage without too much setup. You can get this Pokemon in this deck by using Rare Candy on a Skull Fossil.

Mantyke can generate Water Energy even on the first turn. This can allow Poliwrath ex to deal 140 damage once it has set up.
If you did not draw Mantyke on your first turn, you may use Rampardos as your main mid to late game attacker instead. It can deal 130 damage with only one Energy, making it an efficient finisher.

This deck uses Donphan ex as an early-game attacker while Rampardos is set up on the Bench. Once Rampardos is ready, it can switch in to the Active Spot and act as a finisher.
Attaching Memory Light to Donphan ex gives it the ability to use Flail. This can be used as a higher damage option if it has taken a lot of damage or if it has less than 3 Energy.

Midnight Form Lycanroc is played as a consistent attacker that can always attack for up to 100 damage with Blood Fang. This makes it a perfect early to mid game attacker, threatening the likes of Skarmory and Pom-Pom Oricorio
The deck skips Cranidos entirely to increase the chances of drawing into Rare Candy and Rampardos.
When combined with, Rockruff’s Signs of Evolution helps thin Lycanrocs from your deck, and your odds of drawing Fossils, Rare Candy, and Rampardos further improves. It also ensures you’re ready to evolve and attack next turn.
Use Rare Candy whenever you can to quickly evolve Skull Fossil into Rampardos and KO any remaining Pokemon that go under 130 HP.

This deck makes use of Hitmonchan as an early-game attacker while Rampardos gets set up on the Bench. Rare Candy can be used to quickly set up Rampardos for an explosive 130 damage Head Smash as early as turn 2. Meanwhile, Lucario manly functions as support on the Bench, boosting the power of your Pokemon by 20. This boost can increase to 40 when there are two Lucarios in play.
The deck runs a single copy of Cranidos who has an inexpensive Attack, and also benefits from Lucario's damage buff.
Red is used for when your Lucario's Fighting Coach damage buff isn't enough, while Lillie is used to keep your Rampardos healthy.
The deck also runs Guzma to get rid of pesky tool cards, and Iono to help refresh your hand and disrupt your opponent.

This deck can win or lose fast with your sole Basic Pokemon being Cleffa, who can search out your Evolution cards as early as your first turn. Your single Cleffa runs the risk of getting donked if you do not find your Fossils quickly enough.
It is also very important to find Rare Candy as quickly as possible so that you can immediately start attacking.

Dugtrio is used as a fast and Energy-efficient attacker in the early game. It can deal up to 100 damage for 1 Energy when discarding a Fighting-type Pokemon card. Hiker can help search for cards more consistently.
While they can be discarded, Rampardos and Marshadow can also be used as finishers. It is good to have at least one of them on the Bench in case Dugtrio gets knocked out.

Rare Candy can allow Rampardos to start attacking as early as your second turn.

Rampardos's Head Smash can do a solid 130 damage. With Red, Head Smash's damage output can go up to 150.

Because Rampardos takes recoil damage, it is important to keep it out of KO range. Use healing cards like Pokemon Center Lady and Lillie to recover lost HP.

Rampardos relies on knocking Pokemon out in one hit, so it may be good to use Pokemon that have high HP and hit this deck's weakness. Surviving a Head Smash not only allows you to attack, but it can also put Rampardos into an HP range where it can get knocked out through recoil if it chooses to do a two hit KO.
Venusaur ex can be particularly good at dealing with Rampardos, as it can survive a Head Smash that is boosted by two Lucario cards.

Since Rampardos takes time to set up, you can take advantage of this by knocking out its pre-evolutions. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out to the Active Spot, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.

Think your missing some pokemon in that 1st decklist lol how is your fossil gonna evolve?
