Use Pikachu ex Use Sabrina Use Lightning-Type Pokemon
|
Pikachu ex is a great pick against Lapras and Lapras ex, since they need lots of energy, while Pikachu only needs Basic Lightning-type Pokemon benched to be able to deal lots of damage.
If you do not have Pikachu ex, you can make use of the Sabrina card, along with other Lightning-type Pokemon to score points while disrupting the energy stacking on Lapras.

Use Rapidash or Magmar Use Fire-Type Pokemon
|
Rapidash and Magmar are Fire-Types with low-energy cost attacks, and are fairly easy to set up. Using these two should allow you to clear the Solo Battle tasks, and as long as your opponent fails to set up Venusaur, these two should be able to hold their own against the other Pokemon in the deck.
For premium alternatives, you can use other Fire-types like Charizard ex and Moltres ex, which should give you an easier victory with the proper setup!

Use Starmie ex Use Water-Type Pokemon
|
The Charizard ex Deck feature powerful Fire-types, but without the help of Moltres ex, it should take multiple turns to properly set up Charizard. Use Starmie ex to make use of low energy cost attacks that target the Deck's weakness to finish the battle quickly!
Other Water-types can also be used to clear this Solo Battle, and Water-types like Lapras should be great backups or alternatives for Starmie ex!

Use Heliolisk or Zebstrika Use Lightning-Type Pokemon
|
Heliolisk's attack costs 2 energy, and can deal 60 danage consistently against water types, and 100 damage if you get lucky with the coin flip. This should be enough to take out most of the Pokemon in this deck, but starting off with Zebstrika should allow you to damage Pokemon even from the bench, allowing Heliolisk a clean KO once they are fielded.
Other Lightning-types are also viable, but Blastoise ex can become quite a problem if not dealt with early on!

Use Dugtrio Use Fighting-Type Pokemon
|
Dugtrio is a great counter to the Pikachu ex deck, since Dig only costs 1 energy, and being lucky with coin flips should protect Dugtrio from being knocked out.
Other Fighting-type Pokemon can be used against the Pikachu ex Deck, just be mindful of Pikachu ex' surprisingly high damage output.

Use Muk and Weezing Use Dark-Type Pokemon
|
Muk and Weezing's synergy should be enough to stand up against Mewtwo ex. Weezing is especially great against Alakazam, since Tackle only costs 1 energy, and can Poison on top of dealing Super Effective damage.
Other Dark types can be used against this deck effectively, just keep in mind that Dark-types like Nidoking and Nidoqueen require time to set up, and lots of energy to attack, allowing Mewtwo ex to set up if left unchecked.

|
Clefable and Swoobat's attacks only cost 1 energy, and are Stage 1 Pokemon, making them easy to evolve into. Using these Pokemon to continously deal super effective damage while the AI sets up should result in a quick victory for you.
Other Psychic-type Pokemon can be used effectively against this deck, and you can even try out a Mewtwo ex and Gardevoir combo if you have the cards for it!

Mienshao and Dugtrio's attacks only cost 1 energy, and are Stage 1 Pokemon, making them easy to evolve into. Using these Pokemon to continously deal super effective damage while the AI sets up should result in a quick victory for you.
Other Fighting-Type pokemon can also be used against this Deck, just try to prevent the AI from evolving Nidoking and Nidoqueen to avoid facing a harder battle than it should be.
